Synopsis

Konoha Inoue lives out his days as a normal high schooler, hiding his dark past as a best-selling author who wrote under the guise of a 14-year-old girl. A member of the literature club, he writes improv stories that serve as snacks for third-year student Tooko Amano, the only other member of the club and a self-styled "book girl" who literally eats written words. Konoha is forced to tag along with Tooko as she seeks out strange, literature-filled cases to investigate. One day, the book club receives a request from Chia Takeda, who asks them to help her write love letters to her crush Shuuji Kataoka. She likes literature to the extent that she eats what she reads and cannot taste normal food. When Konoha saw her eating the pages of a novel, she forced him to join the literature club so that she could "watch over him" and keep him from telling others about it.

He used to write a novel called "Sora ni Niteiru" (Looks Alike to the Sky) using penname Miu Inoue when he was in junior high school and sent to a magazine. The novel was received an award and too famous that it became drama and movie. The name was very feminine that people thought it was written by a mysterious girl. There was an accident happened to a girl he likes (Miu Asakura) that caused him to have difficulty in breathing so he closed himself until he met Touko in high school, who was reading and eating what she read, so she forced him to join literature club. Bungaku Shoujo Series is in his point of view, while Bungaku Shoujo: Minarai Series is in Nano Hinosaka's point of view.
