Terms of use

Last updated: June 6, 2026

1. Service and acceptance

findmanga.app (the «Service») provides tools to search and discover manga titles, catalog information (metadata, descriptions, images when available), and optional signed-in features (e.g. library and recommendations). By using the Service you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, do not use it.

2. Eligibility

You must meet the minimum age required in your country to enter a binding agreement. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it to these terms.

3. Accounts

You may register via third-party providers (e.g. Google), as enabled in the implementation. You are responsible for keeping your account access secure and for activity under your account. You may be required to provide accurate information; we may suspend or close accounts for unlawful or abusive use.

4. Third-party content and rights

The catalog may include titles, descriptions, images, and data from public sources or third parties. Rights in the underlying works belong to authors, publishers, and other right holders. The Service does not replace lawful access to the works and does not distribute copyright-protected files. Reports about inappropriate content or alleged infringement may be handled through contact channels you make available.

5. Acceptable use and search limits

You must not use the Service in a way that could harm it, overload it, bypass technical limits, extract data without authorization (aggressive scraping), violate applicable laws, or infringe others' rights. We may apply rate limits, blocks, or termination of access in case of abuse. Signed-in users may use Quick search without a fixed cap. Smart search (AI-assisted) is limited to a total number of searches per account (currently 30 unless a different limit is shown in the Service). Guest users are subject to separate free-search limits. Limits may change; when Smart search is selected, the Service may show how many Smart searches you have used.

6. Availability and changes

The Service is provided «as is» and may be changed, suspended, or discontinued. We may update these terms; for material changes, where required by law or appropriate, we may notify you via the Service. Continued use after updates may constitute acceptance of the revised terms.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Service and its operators are not liable for indirect damages, data loss, outages, or inaccuracies in metadata. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty disclaimers; in those cases the minimum legal protections apply.

8. Governing law and venue

Unless mandatory rules of your place of residence provide otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of Italy and disputes shall be brought before the courts of Italy, where permitted.

9. Privacy, cookies, and data processing

Use of the Service is subject to the Privacy policy, which explains purposes, legal bases, rights, cookies, and similar technologies. The current implementation does not use third-party advertising or audience-measurement cookies; session cookies may be set for authentication. Internal usage statistics for operators are derived from the Service's own database and are not sold. Features that require sign-in are described in the Privacy policy.
