At first, Airi is a rather soft and kind-hearted girl. She's arguably the most distraught over the introduction of the Jinrou Game, and her belief that killing someone no matter the circumstance is wrong almost proves to be her undoing during the first voting. She's rather dependent on Tada Tomohiro for a large part of her first game. Toward the end of Jinrou Game going into Beast Side, her personality more or less does a complete 180, stating that "her heart has long since died." She's much more stoic and calm, acting more on the desire to save herself than anyone else. She's quite conniving, as she's quick to set Konomi Inoue up as a fake fortune teller in a vain attempt at ridding them both of suspicion while also not putting herself at risk. Konomi is a girl of rather small build, being smaller than a lot of the other participants. Like everyone else from her school, she's seen wearing their uniform during the events of the game. At first she wears a dark cardigan over the usual button-up, but ditches it in Beast Side. Her blonde hair is rather long, and is styled in two messy pigtails.
