She loves all the cats in the neighborhood and has named them all. There's never any evidence that she's poor, but she can't stand to spend money, even on things she needs. She grows herbs and sprouts on her kitchen windowsill and obsesses over the loss of 100 yen when the miso she bought goes on sale the next day. The only other thing she obsesses over is the pink kitty mascot of the local bank. She is otherwise conventional, and a "straight man" to Sora and Natsumi's quirks.
