Penne1 fan favoritesExternal profileAlso known as Battalia in English dub. Arashi meets Penne in episode 5, after the events in that episode, Penne joins Team Freedom. Penne importantly re-names the team to be "Freedom" and designs the logo. A substantial improvement over Arashi's attempts at a name/logo for the team the episode prior. Penne has a sordid background. Her parents were killed when she was young by a group of bandits. This forced her to flee into an orphanage with her Scorpear. Being able to ride Zoids, she took up bounty hunting. She was quite successful, even capturing the Bandits that had attacked her parents. Eventually, she hears of the Death Metal Empire that were seeking the Wild Liger. She teams up with Arashi to gain his trust and planned to double-cross him for the reward. She nearly succeeds, but gives up and instead double-crosses Foiegras, one of the Four Heavenly Kings of Death Metal. It's not until after turning on Death Metal, does the Scorpear bestow her with its Zoid Key.
Onigiri0 fan favoritesExternal profileAlso known as Analog in english dub. Arashi meets Onigiri in Episode 7, and after the events in that episode, Onigiri joins Team Freedom. Onigiri is a "boy professor" and is very knowledgeable/passionate about Zoids. He was initially developing the technology required for Death Metal to use their Death Blast, but was reluctant to do his research due to the harm it caused the Zoids.
Bacon0 fan favoritesExternal profileBacon leads team Supreme. He is well known as a famous, powerful, Zoid Hunter. Initially he seeks the Wild Liger, before meeting Arashi. While not strictly a resistance force, he and Team Supreme oppose the Death Metal empire. His goal was to search for the "Great Ancient Treasure Z". He is shown to have a deep bond with his Zoid, the Fang Tiger, as well as having met Arashi's Father in the past. Bacon serves as a major character during the start and end of season 1 in Zoids Wild (the first 13 episodes). In the past, Bacon was shown to have met many of the major characters in the series. He trained under the Mushi Hermit, alongside Gallagher. He proved to be the stronger of the two, constantly besting Gallagher. This defeat cause Gallagher to seek stronger and stronger Zoids, eventually reaching up to the Death Rex. Bacon's defiance of Gallagher caused him to steal part of a Zoid Key from him. This key eventually handed on to Arashi. Bacon had also met Arashi's father, Salt, and Mitsuba before the events of the series took place.
