The eldest of the Saotome children, Noan is extremely outgoing and proud to show off her body. Despite her flippant attitude and spending time drawing backgrounds for her brother's manga, she's at the top of her class. Noan is an intermittent member of the school's cheer leading squad, though this conflicts with her drawing time. Throughout much of the series, she is the object of jealousy from her younger sister, Kanon. The protagonist of the series and a newly established mangaka. Along with his elder sister Noan, who assists with backgrounds, and his younger sister, Kanon, who assists with sound effects and the final touches, creates the weekly serialized manga, Love Robot. The demands of this job caused Mobuyuki to drop out of high school, presumably providing the family's primary source of income. Throughout the series, Mobuyuki is forced to deal the the challenges of being a solo mangaka as well as the antics of his sisters and an eclectic cast of young mangakas, editors, and others.
