Kadokawa has released a revised and illustrated version of the series since February 1, 2019 under its Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko label. The series has been published in English as The World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat by Yen Press under the Yen On imprint since December 29, 2020.

Maha was born the solo heiress of a famous trading company who was betrayed by her parents right-hand man so he could usurp the company out from under both her and her parents. Her parents were murdered and sensing her life was in danger she fled to Milteu were she gets together a small group of abandoned orphans together and starts to give tours to people so that her and her friends can get by earnestly. Which works until a local noble places a bounty on their heads to be then sold into slavery and prostitution. She and her friends are saved by Lugh when he is sent to Milteu for undercover work to train as a merchant under an alias his father had created for him Illig Balor. Illig Balor bought her out of slavery and had her adopted by his merchant family the Balor's to seaver as his right-hand man and run both his cosmetic empire and his information network. She spends a couple of years being trained as one of Lugh's assassin assistants and is extremely important to Lugh. Overtime she falls in love with Lugh saying "At first we admired you as our great older brother. But as we got older how could we not fall in love with the best guy around." Lugh not wanting to take advantage of her at first turns her down. Maha is smart and clever but with Lugh's assassin training she becomes strong and agile as well as an excellent acting director of Lugh's growing cosmetics and chocolate empire. She exposes this rule Lugh quietly set for himself about not taking advantage of her and Tarte and remind him that it is encouraged and normal that nobles take on a couple mistresses. Lugh's personal servant and one of his assassination assistants. She cares deeply for Lugh because he saved her life. Tarte's family often call Tarte useless and worthless giving her a complex about this labeling, when things got tough her family abandoned her because they could not feed everyone in the family. Nearly starved to death and alone she wonders into the forest where she has a dream in which God tells her to travel to Tuatha Dé territory were she will have a fateful encounter. Lugh then saved her from being eaten by a pack of wolves moments before they got to her. After saving her life and Lugh telling her he needs her, she spends the next two years training her to be an assassin worthy of Lugh. After saving her life Tarte slowly starts to fall in love with Lugh and with Dia and Lugh's mothers encouragement becomes one of his mistresses. Which at first Lugh was not on board with the idea because he felt like he was taking advantage of her. She has an aptitude with spears. When Lugh sends her into battle to get real combat experience her proficiency with spears and magic quickly earn her the title The Lightning Quick Battle Maiden.
