Synopsis

Touma Kamijou meets two girls in Academy City's back alleys. One is Ayu Mitsuari, a lady of Tokiwadai Middle School with the Mental Stinger power to control people's minds. The other is Seria Kumokawa, a mysterious genius high school girl who can control people's minds without any power. Kamijou is at the mercy of those girls, but those peaceful times do not last long. That kind time is torn apart by a gigantic creature that towers over them: a dragon. Who is the Biohacker who created it, controls it, and freely gives it the power to fight? Why is that giant creature pursuing Ayu Mitsuari? Touma Kamijou enters Academy City's deep darkness to protect the girls. It all happened one year ago. It is the summer of Touma Kamijou's third year of middle school. This is an untold story different from the time he spent with Misaki Shokuhou. Touma Kamijou's starting point begins here. She is a character that so far has only appeared in volume SS2 and NT2. She's Kamijou Touma's senpai, a third year student going to same school as him and described as a genius. She's currently employed by Kaizumi Tsugutoshi as his adviser, one of the 12 members of the Academy City's Board of Directors. She's very knowledgeable in things happening on the Science side, knowing about Deep Blood, Imagine Breaker, and the Level 6 Shift project. Personally she's very interested in Touma and his ability Imagine Breaker, but not romantically. To resolve the issue of governments and/or various other agencies from forcibly taking control of natural born espers, or 'gemstones' in SS2, to try and build another esper research facility (even though according to her the chance of them discovering a way before they end up killing the gemstones like lab rats is zero) opposed to Academy City, she proposed using the SISTER clones that's going through adjustment in various parts of the world to collect the 50 or so 'gemstones' and keep them under their protection. It is implied she made some sort of deal with Heaven Canceller in order for the SISTER clones to be mobilised. She's also mentioned in passing in Volume 19, when GROUP needed an ally on the Board of Directors to fight against the Director after them they ruled out Kaizumi as a option, since Seria would not be fooled easily and might advise Kaizumi against helping them.

Classification: Esper Occupation: Tokiwadai Middle School (Former Student) Ability: Mental Stinger Level: 3 She is the main antagonist of Volume 11 and represents a contrast to both Shokuhou Misaki's situation and character. Mitsuari Ayu has long, wavy, chocolate-colored hair, apparently as fluffy as cotton candy. She has smaller breasts than Shokuhou Misaki but apparently has more beautiful legs than her, more than just long and slender. She wears a special dark suit, resembling a racing swimsuit, with similar gloves and boots. Mitsuari Ayu's character design is basically the rejected initial design for Shokuhou Misaki, with a few changes to her expressions due to her psychotic 'yandere' tendencies.
