Synopsis

At the end of Ring ni Kakero 1, Ryuuji Takane went up against Superstar Jun Kenzaki for the World Title. Now, 17 years later, Rindo Kenzaki, the son Jun Kenzaki and nephew of Ryuuji Takane, lives with Ishimatsu Katori, the "Kenka Champion" from Ryuuji and Jun's time. Age: 18 Rindo is the son of Jun Kenzaki and Kiku Takane,he is also the closest connection with the Japan Golden Jr Boxing team, in which he became a leader of the new generation. Orphaned at a young age, Rindo led a misfit life and tried to follow in the footsteps of his father with, unfortunately, arrogance and superficiality. All this is true until he encounters Ishimatsu, who becomes his teacher and his adoptive father, although Kazuki and Takeshi and contribute to his training, making him a true heir of all five of his predecessors. His love for Ichina Sanjo and friendship with Iori Shinatora, Kyo Kawai, and Ran Shadow tempers the character of Rindo making him a real man, a champion of boxing and a person of safe custody. But Rindo remains a simple guy, open, and with a strong sense of justice, capable of creating so much affection around him to convert to friends those who oppose him.
