Anne is the personal maid-in-waiting of the Tearmoon Empire's princess, Mia Luna Tearmoon. Being Mia's personal maid was initially a position that Anne and many others thought she wasn't deserving of due to being a commoner and a newly hired maid. The reason for Anne's appointment to this position was as a reward for her loyalty to Mia, loyalty Anne believed she lacked due to only taking the job for the money it provided. In truth, the loyalty wasn't from the current Anne, but the one of the previous timeline, who continued to serve Mia even after she was imprisoned by the revolution army and all the way till she was executed. Anne is an incredibly clumsy individual, and a bit of an airhead, but she continues to strive forward and do her best at all times. She is grateful for everything Mia has done for her and her family, and has sworn to remain by Mia's side no matter what happens. These feelings though have caused Anne great pain when she is left behind by Mia, believing it due to her inability in certain areas, such as riding a horse. Even during these times, Anne takes it as a lesson in that these are areas she need to work on improving herself, as to not be a burden for Mia or anyone else that servers her.

As member of the Lulu tribe, she is very athletic, which is part of why she was chosen to be Tiona's maid. Still struggling to learn the common language of the continent, Liora's speach is often broken, but this doesn't prevent people from understanding her. Due to her roots in the Lulu tribe, Liora doesn't have the same common sense as those around her, such as roasting meat on a spit, or chasing a fly with a bow and arrow. This has also caused her much struggles in performing her duties as a maid, regularly causing a mess. Even with all her faults, Liora is very loyal to Tiona, and sometimes worries that she is a burden due to all her screwups, but is often reassured that she isn't.
