Synopsis

Life—or undeath?—isn't easy for Ayumu Aikawa. A seemingly normal high schooler, he is in fact a zombie who serves as a bodyguard to an introverted necromancer. But his already complicated existence becomes even more outlandish when he accidently steals the powers of a magical girl, transforming into one himself—complete with frilly dress and pink chainsaw!! She wears an armor that suppresses her abilities and doesn't talk because her power can make her every word spoken become reality. Although seemingly emotionless and mute, it is shown that she cares deeply about her friends and other people, even Ayumu though she considers him to be her servant. She does not like the word "death" taken lightly especially since her powers can instantly take a person's life. Ayumu often daydreams about her speaking in a cutesy manner. She is able to form a pair of bat wings and a katana out of several leaves. As a vampire, she periodically requires blood to stay alive, and can anesthetize people with a kiss in order to numb the pain from neck bites. She does this with other girls, since kissing a boy would symbolize marriage in her cult's rules. She comes to Ayumu's house to serve Eucliwood, though when rejected, she ends up being Ayumu's servant in hopes she can change her mind. Maelstrom is able to use tonkotsu ramen soup to instantly defeat Megalos, though the explanation behind it is too advanced for even her to understand, and has a machine which sprays said soup over the city whenever a horde of Megalos attack. As a result of accidentally kissing Ayumu when he was pushed by Haruna, they are technically declared married by her faction's customs, and she constantly acts like a wife while at school, where she goes under the alias Yuki Yoshida.
