About this title

Synopsis

The series takes place in an alternate version of Japan called Great Japan, in an alternate timeline where the Tokugawa shogunate remained active and has remained isolated from the rest of the world. The story takes place at Buou Academic School, an academy located at the base of Mount Fuji where children of military families train to become samurai warriors. The academy is in the middle of a power struggle between Yukimura Sanada and Matabei Goto of the Toyotomi faction and the powerful student council that rules the school, and Muneakira Yagyu, the owner of the Yagyu Dojo, and the mysterious Jubei Yagyu are dragged in the middle of the conflict. The series features famous historical figures from Japan's Sengoku period and early Edo period. The character Charles d'Artagnan also comes from the same age in Europe. (Source: Wikipedia)

She also has a power level of five million when she transforms, but in this state she has shown a sadistic side, yet she is an honourable warrior who gives respect to those whom have earned it. In her normal form however, she has no memories of her former life, and has an obsession with her "onii-chan" (big brother), Muneakira. She is also airheaded, innocent, and acts very much like a child, which is reinforced by the fact that she refers to herself in third-person. Her weapon is a daisho set, with the katana unusually colored. (Source: Wikipedia)

Quick to anger, Sen loves to abuse Hanzo, and treats her like a lower being, even though Hanzo clearly shows great affection towards her. Her rule is absolute, and she guides her followers with an iron fist, but seems to revert to a regular, whiny, and childish girl around Mune, something that Mune takes advantage of, and a flaw that Hanzo is quick to notice. Sen Tokugawa's loyal enforcer, she'll go to great lengths to protect the school and to catch her prey. Sometimes brash and always prideful, Hanzou takes her job very seriously and with the help of her followers, all as loyal as she is, they get the job done. She is also a skilled fighter, using her "power detector" glasses to great effect when sizing up her opponents. All at once shy and forceful, she cowers at the mention of anything sexual and is a classic "trope" character all around. She is very willing to please her princess, Sen Tokugawa, even though Sen treats her like garbage and harasses her at every turn. Even in the face of such ridicule, Hanzou obeys, adores, and protects Sen, almost to the point of obsession. (Source: ANN)
