About this title

Synopsis

Takuma and Mayu's story began when they were only 8 years old. During his childhood, Takuma was constantly hospitalised due to his heart condition. He soon became friends with Mayu, the daughter of the doctor in charge of his case. Day by day they grew closer and closer. Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sasagu won the 53rd Shokakukan Manga Award in the shoujo category. The series was adapted into a live-action movie in 2009, which became the highest grossing movie in Japan in the moment of its release. It was published in French by Soleil, in Spanish by Ivrea, and in Italian by Panini.
