Synopsis

Intellectual Villages are old fashioned rural villages recreated with cutting edge technology. Those villages attract the Japanese monsters known as Youkai. The high school boy Jinnai Shinobu lives in one of those villages and has a Zashiki Warashi living in his house. A protagonist of the series. He is a Police Detective working in Investigation Department 1 of Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. He considers this a "Dead-end job" but is satisfied with it. Regards his goal for working as a detective to be "To help the living", he doesnt like working for the dead. He has run into several Youkai related cases, one such being the "Zashou Village Package" case where he made his debut in the series. He is a plain man by appearance and has a calm, collected and rational personality. Though his successes can be mostly credited to the contribution of Hishigami Enbi, he still is good at his job, just not to the point one can call 'outstanding'. He is the uncle of Jinnai Shinobu, another protagonist of the series. He used to live in the same Intellectual Village as his family. But for some reason, he hates Youkais and is hated by them, and as Intellectual Villages are the living places for Youkais he left to live in the city, Tokyo. Apparently he has known Hishigami Enbi for a long time, and also acquinted with her older sister and last protagonist of the series- Hishigami Mai. As the series goes on, he is pulled into dark conspiracies along with Jinnai Shinobu and Hishigami Mai in several occasions. No voice actors have been added to this character.
