Synopsis

In a land wrought by attacks from beings known as "The Sky People," nowhere is safe from their wanton destruction. In this dangerous land, a lone soul known as Zipher, possessing only a giant metal box, collapses on his journey to the rumored land of wizards—better known as the shunned "variants." Saved by Domika, a gentle variant, and taken back to the village, Zipher is stunned by their warped features. Coming to his senses, he instantly seeks out the chief, hoping to beg a boon. After all, the strange magics the variants wielded were incomprehensible to outsiders, and the power over life was surely theirs as well. But the variants distrust outsiders, and not all are as welcoming as Domika. Zipher (ジファー ) is the main protagonist of Pandemonium: Wizard Village. He travels to the Land of the Variants to find the Wizard Village and resurrect Anna O'Hara. Zipher is a tan-furred cat with a tan hat and coat and dark colored pants. He has a short tail. His eyes are large with small pupils and have dark circles around them. He wears a green scarf. Domika (ドミーカ Domiika) is an important character from Pandemonium: Wizard Village. A Variant fox, she was born in the Variant village, but wants to see the outside world. She grows close to Zipher as the manga goes on. Domika has light-colored fur and long blonde hair. Her most prominent feature are her large, pangolin-like claws. She has talons for feet, and a long blonde tail. She wears a red headscarf to cover her hair, before she eventually stops wearing it. Domika has a white shirt underneath her black dress, with a white apron. Following Chapter 6, she starts wearing a red shirt. As a child, she wore a simple dress and shirt. After the timeskip, Domika's outfit has taken a more floral theme, with her apron and dress now being decorated with flowers. She now wears glasses, and her shirt is now pink. Domika is a kindhearted woman, given that she saved Zipher, despite having no idea who he was or what he would do, simply feeling it was the right thing to do. She also offered to take full responsibility for what would happen in the case of him waking up. When Molte arrived at the village, she adopted the mouse instead of indulging in her desire for death. Initially, she's self-conscious and embarrassed about not wearing her headscarf, though she becomes more comfortable around Zipher and stops wearing it. As a child, she was somewhat mischievous, waking Kayoh up to enter Ainu's art studio after midnight and playing a variety of pranks on Cosith in an attempt to wake him so he could join them.
