Synopsis

On their first day of class, first-year high school students Takashi Mitsuhashi and Shinji Itou immediately become friends. The duo seems to have quite a bit in common on the surface. Both of them aspire to emerge as delinquents upon entering their new school, and they begin to wear obnoxious haircuts to make them stand out from other teenagers. However, despite being a feared pair, these two students actually have more differences than similarities. Itou wants to use his fists to protect the weak, earning respect and admiration from his classmates. On the other hand, Mitsuhashi strives to be the strongest in Japan—striking fear in anyone watching him. Regardless of these dissimilarities, the two are notorious for their remarkable fighting abilities, and their friendship thrives when they come together to throw fists. Kyou kara Ore wa!! received a Japanese live-action drama adaptation that premiered on October 14, 2018. The drama was succeeded by a sequel movie that was released on July 17, 2020.

Age: 15-17 Height: 181 cm He gave up his ordinary school life and decided to "become a delinquent from today on" (thus the title of this manga), after moving to his new home in Chiba. To make his appearance more noticeable, he dyed his hair blond (he often use this appearance to pretend to be a foreigner). Being a very athletic person, he used his talent for the sole purpose of brawling and actually becomes a real delinquent. His fighting style is based around his speed, as he often dodges most attacks, becoming enraged whenever he is forced to block. Age: 15-16 Height: 180 cm (205 cm including his hair) Just like Mitsuhashi, Itou got transferred to Nanyou High. Being a complete reversal of Mitsuhashi, Itou's the kind of righteous person fighting for justice. Like his personality, his fighting style is also the opposite of Mitsuhashi's: he's incredibly tough, and often stands up from any beating, even in the bleakest of situations. While he may be as strong as Mitsuhashi, Itou is beaten up much more often than Mitsuhashi due to often sacrificing himself to protect others as well as fighting fair in unfair situations or against numerable opponents.
