About this title

Synopsis

Yu☆Gi☆Oh! Arc-V centers around Yuuya Sakaki, a mysterious Entertainment Duelist known as "The Phantom" along with his three other personalities: Yuuto, Yuugo, and Yuuri. He was chased after by Leo Corporation for hacking into their Solid Vision with mass system and used it for his own purpose. While on the run, he meets Yuzu Hiiragi, the daughter of the principal of Syu Zo Duel School that was on the verge of bankruptcy and tricked Yuuya into a contract to become a teacher at her school. However, before Yuuya could teach at the school, he first must find a card called Genesis Omega Dragon that said will determine the fate of the world that also connected to his scattered memories. The story is set in alternate version of Miami City where Leo Corporation, run by its president Reiji Akaba, dominates most of Solid Vision system throughout the city. The spread of the company's Solid Vision with mass not only gave birth to "Action Duels" but also help improving the city in saving lives and repair damage in case of disaster, becoming a vital part of people's life.

Deck: - Melodious (Gensou in Japanese Version) Deck Hiiragi Yuzu is one of the main characters and a childhood friend of Sakaki Yuuya. Her father owns You Show Duel School, the Duel school that she and Yuuya attend, where they spend their time honing their Dueling skills. She uses a Melodious deck. Like Yuuya, she also has dimensional counterparts: Selena (Fusion Dimension), Rin (Synchro Dimension), and Ruri (Xyz Dimension). According to Akaba Leo, Yuzu and her other dimensional counterparts are crucial to his plans.

Yuugo is a character in the Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V anime. He rides a D-Wheel and is notorious among members of the Resistance as the so-called "Pawn of Fusion." Yugo is shown to be very impulsive and short tempered, especially when his name is pronounced incorrectly. Because of this, Yugo frequently got into many fights against others, including Yuto, who incorrectly stated he was a pawn of Fusion. Once he set his mind on something, he became quite unaware of his surroundings, not noticing Yuya despite the latter talking throughout his Duel with Yuto, though he was able to recall him later after stopping and thinking about the event. Despite his short temper and rudeness, Yugo is a kind person at heart, especially towards Rin, his childhood friend, whom he has feelings for. Yuuto strongly resembles Yuya Sakaki; people often confuse him with Yuya, and the first time Yuzu Hiragi saw him, she thought he was Yuya in a costume. Yuuto and Yuya have nearly identical faces. Before revealing his identity, his name was displayed as Unknown on-screen and he was called the Dark Duelist in promotional materials and the Dark Masked Duelist by characters in the series.
