About this title

Synopsis

To counter the declining birthrate, the Japanese government chose one high school to initiate the "Bright World Project." The rules are simple: during the span of a summer break, each student has to find a date... or face death. While 99% of the school formed relationships, 9 students remain. Minakami Hotaru is the definition of yandere. Following Harusame Daichi as much as she can with promises ranging from eternal love to endless sex to marriage contracts. She views all other men as trash and is not afraid to vocalize this stance, and any women who comes near Harusame is threatened with a box cutter she carries around at all times. Harusame constantly refues her advances, leading to the cutter threatening his own safety, which leads to Hotaru being placed in the project refusing to give up.
