Synopsis

Chidaruma Kenpou tells the tale of Gennosuke, a samurai whole faces discrimination owing to his status as one of the burakumin.

Publication notes

Shortly after publication Chidaruma Kenpou was removed from sale over accusations of it being discriminatory against the burakumin, with a revised version, Onorera ni Tsugu, being released some time later. It would be 40 years before the original was reprinted. It was published in English as "Bloody Stumps Samurai" by Retrofit Comics.
