About this title

Synopsis

Set in the Daiouyama Prefecture High School, a school with over 3000 students. The Student Council Empress decides that small clubs are a blight on the schools resources, and that they should be forcibly merged into one club. Michiko is a high school sophomore at Daiouyama Prefectural High School and a member of the Fabrication! Astrology Pursuit Club. Prior to the club merger, she is a member of the Occult Research Club. She claims to be a wizard and is always shown wearing her cloak. Despite her eccentric personality and chuunibyou, she actually does well in academics except in Language Arts. She is shown to be childish, naive and gullible. Like Aiko, she has poor eyesight and usually wears contact lenses. Before settling with "Meraru Disaster," she went by the title "Night Kaiser" in middle school, a name choice she regrets. Her student I.D. indicated that she is Student Number 6 of Class 2-H. Mao is a high school sophomore at Daiouyama Prefectural High School and a member of the Fabrication! Astrology Pursuit Club. Prior to the club merger, she is the president and only remaining member of the Astronomy Club. She usually acts as the head of the merged club mainly because she is the most rational member and that the club is situated at her old club room. In addition to this, when Mao tried to prevent the merger, the Student Council Empress appointed her "Queen" of the "poisonous" clubs. She is the only member of the club who doesn't wear glasses or contact lenses. She is shown to be poor in academics, except in Health and Physical Education. She is also known to have sisters and an incredibly strong grip strength. Sae later spilled out that Mao joined the Astronomy Club during her first year because she was interested in the club president, that she currently has a crush on Menzu and that she keeps an imaginary daily exchange diary with him (in which "he" affectionately calls her "Mao-mao").
