Publication notes

Double Heroine was also aired from November 2010 to September 2011 as a radio drama on Bubka Broadcasting during "" talk show hosted by AKB48's "Twin Towers," Akimoto Sayaka and Miyazawa Sae. The roles of Rachel and Asuka were made respectively based on their personalities. There was also a live musical show with the voice actors reprising their roles. Since the radio drama ended in the middle of the story after "Ukkari Channel" stopped airing, the manga is the only complete version of the story.

    External profile

Asuka is an ageless, powerful and near indestructible android created by a company known as "Pandora 7". However, despite this, she appears as a very cute, young girl with a bubbly personality. She always wears her trademark white bear ears and has a deep affection towards Rachel. After becoming Rachel's new partner in fighting crime, as well as her roommate, she's ALWAYS by Rachel's side. Whether it's preparing her meals, protecting her from badies, or just wanting to hug and cling to Rachel. Asuka's greatest wish is to become human. She explains a lot about what she is as an android to Rachel (i.e., not being able to shed tears, but she can feel emotion). And she even confirms to Rachel many times that she has a proper heart. In the radio drama/musical adaption, Asuka is portrayed by Sae Miyazawa (宮澤佐江). No voice actors have been added to this character.
