About this title

Synopsis

A normal high school boy Kisaragi Ryuji's peaceful life is turned into an adventure by the return of his second cousin Eriko. Ryuji and Eriko seize a relic box from a black broker. In the box, they find a red dragon girl Rose. In order to protect Rose from the black organization, Ryuji decides to fight using his power as a relic handler.

Not much is known about Rose beyond the fact that she is a young dragon, and thus still unable to change her form. When she is first released from the case, the crime syndicate "Fang" was transporting her. She does not know how to speak and can only say Ryuuji's name, but soon picks up a few words (mostly learning from TV and Eriko). Since she could not communicate, or didn't know her name, Ryuuji gives her the name Rose because the dragon scales on the back of her left hand look kind of like a rose. Rose is intrusive towards nearly everyone, except Ryuuji to whom she clings so much to that she will sleep beside him in his bed. (Source: Wikipedia)

Ryuuji's 19 year old second cousin. She really likes her cousin and despite the fact that she has been studying in America for some time, she returns to Japan to see his face and also to intercept a "Lost Precious" that "Fang" took from her ten years ago. Despite the risk of taking anything that "Fang" believes is theirs she does not back down because she believes the contents, which she suspects to be an S rank "Lost Precious", will prove her worth to the other "Lost Precious" hunters. Initially unable to identify who Rose is, she is shocked when she discovers that Rose knows Ryuuji's name and that she's a Red Dragon. Her "lost precious" of choice is a staff that can cast the illusion of a swarm of butterflies.
