Synopsis

The land of Fuyuki City, which possessed the second greatest spiritual power in all Japan, was owned by Rin's ancestor, Nagato Toosaka; at the behest of the Einzberns, he provided his property as battleground for present and future wars. Nagato was a kirishitan, as well as a pupil of Zelretch; these titles gave him considerable influence in both the Mage's Association and the Church, allowing the Toosaka family to participate in the Holy Grail Wars, free from harassment by either organization. Rin was brought up as the successor to her family's magecraft, and was instructed by her father to prioritize magecraft over her own interests. Her origin is unknown, except that she has a brother who looks similar to Shirou, and she takes on the Edelfelt name after being taken in by Luvia. She lives in Luvia's mansion and acts as her maid to earn her keep. She uses Ruby's sister Kaleidostick, Sapphire, in order to transform, and she initially has a much better understanding of her abilities than Illya. Daughter of the distinguished lineage of magi of the Edelfelt, Luviagelita is their young and talented family head. A student in Clock Tower, the Mage's Association academy, she is one of the candidates for the position of student's president for the current academic term. As long as Rin is not nearby, Luvia's attitude is always graceful, never blaspheming and with a beauty similar to a swan. Of course, that is just a facade and she is actually very competitive and suffer with perfectionist tendencies. She has fair orangish-blonde hair.
