Synopsis

Based on the classic Famicom game, the manga centers around Marth, who was sent off his attacked homelands of Altea by his sister. A few years later he returns to regain his home with the aid of his allies.

Prince of the small kingdom of Aritia and main character of the Fire Emblem OVA (as well as the first Fire Emblem game, whose plot the OVA describes). His character class is Lord. His name has been translated several ways (including "Mars" and "Matus"), with "Marth" being Nintendo of America's official translation. The OVA used "Mars." His hair is blue because, in the game, allied units are colored blue, and his hair color was picked to match. In Fire Emblem Engage, Marth is one of the twelve Emblems of Elyos. Marth's Ring of the Hero-King was placed on Alear's hand while they slept for 1000 years. After Alear's awakening, they are attacked by malevolent forces on their way to Lythos Castle. Desiring to protect Clanne and Framme, Alear invokes the power of the Ring, summoning Marth and engaging with them, allowing them to dispatch the Corrupted.
