Satoshi2135 fan favoritesExternal profileAsh Ketchum (known as Satoshi in Japan) is a fictional character and the main protagonist of the japanese animation, Pokémon. There are also incarnations of him in the Electric Tale of Pikachu manga, the Pocket Monsters Zensho manga, and the Ash & Pikachu manga. He is loosely based on the male protagonist of the Pokémon Red and Blue. The family name "Ketchum" is a pun of the anime's former tagline and slogan "Gotta catch 'em all!" At the beginning of the series, Ash was 10 years old. In the short called "Pikachu & Pichu" which was attached to Pokémon 3: The Movie, he said the day when the events depicted in the short took place was the day he met Pikachu, meaning his age at that time would be at least 11. However, two seasons later, the official Japanese Pokémon website reported that Ash was the same age as May, who was 10 years old at the time. This and the fact that the two are at the same height suggests that none of the characters have aged since the show began, placing the Pokemon anime in a floating timeline. Ash is a caring and valiant trainer but he can be confident to the point of arrogance and is known for being stubborn at times. He also has quite the reckless streak, which has led him to troublesome situations and even near death. But when in a Pokémon battle, he is highly competitive, and he shows tremendous presence of mind, taking advantage of the battlefield as well the nature of his and the enemy Pokémon's moves to claim victory after victory, though he has been known to lose from time to time. Ash has matured greatly over the course of the series, and has considerably improved his abilities as a trainer, but his earnestness and determination remain the same. During the first season of the series, Ash trained to catch more Pokémon than his childhood rival, Gary Oak, although Gary has caught more. He soon begins to focus more on each of his Pokémon's abilities. He also impresses many trainers by winning battles in which his Pokémon has a type disadvantage. At the Johto League Silver Conference Ash finally won a battle against Gary. Throughout the anime, Ash has met a number of rivals, including Richie, whom he faced in the Indigo League, and Casey, a diehard Electabuzz fanatic. During Pokémon tournaments, Ash has made rivals out of Harrison, Jackson, Morrison, and Tyson (the last of which went on to become the champion of the Hoenn Pokémon league). Near the beginning of Pokémon: Diamond & Pearl, Ash meets an arrogant young trainer named Paul, who quickly becomes his new rival. Ash's primary nemesis is a group of comical antagonists named Team Rocket. Ever since the second episode, "Pokémon Emergency!" two Team Rocket operatives named Jessie and James, along with a talking Meowth, have always tried to steal his first Pokémon Pikachu but have always failed. There are some occasions when they work together like the Pokémon: The Movie 2000. Ash's mother is Delia Ketchum (Hanako in Japan). She is a caring and thoughtful woman, though occasionally oblivious as her son, and in the English version of the anime often pesters him to change his boxer shorts every day, a gag throughout the early episodes of the first few series. The identity of his father has remained unknown. One reference to him exists in the anime. During a phone conversation between Ash and his mother in the second episode, she states to her amazement that he got from Pallet Town to Viridian City in one day. "It took your father four days to get there when he started Pokémon training," she says, "He'll be so proud!" A line from the play, Pokémon Live!, suggests that Delia, at one time, had a relationship with the leader of Team Rocket, Giovanni when she was a teenager, but in the anime, no evidence of Giovanni being Ash's father has been shown currently. In the episode "Showdown at Dark City," Ash went by the name of Tom Ato (tomato) after spotting some ketchup that Pikachu was eating. He had to disguise his name, so that his real name would not get a bad reputation, since he was dealing with the rivaling Yas and Kas gyms. Ash was based off Red, a playable character from the generation l games, Pokémon Red, Blue and Green, he was also based off Satoshi Tajiri's childhood self.
Pikachu1840 fan favoritesExternal profilePikachu is a short, chubby rodent Pokémon. It is covered in yellow fur with two horizontal brown stripes on its back. It has a small mouth, long, pointed ears with black tips, and brown eyes. Each cheek is a red circle that contains a pouch for electricity storage. It has short forearms with five fingers on each paw, and its feet each have three toes. At the base of its lightning bolt-shaped tail is a patch of brown fur. A female Pikachu has a "V"-shaped notch at the end of its tail, which looks like the top of a heart. It is classified as a quadruped, but it has been known to stand and walk on its hind legs; therefore, Pikachu is a facultative biped. Pikachu stores electric energy using the small pouches in its cheeks in case it is attacked, so one might feel a small shock if it is touched. These pouches become electrically charged during the night as it sleeps, so a dozy Pikachu may occasionally discharge electricity after waking up. If it does not get enough sleep, it will not be able to release said electricity at its full power. When angered or threatened, Pikachu quickly unleashes the electric energy from its cheeks, which can reach the intensity of a lightning bolt. This also serves as a sign that it's wary, and it will feel stressed if it's unable to fully release the electricity. In Sparks Fly for Magnemite (EP030), Pikachu is shown to accumulate energy in its glands, which it will need to eject to avoid complications. When several Pikachu form a group, they are capable of causing thunder storms by building up electricity. If one Pikachu sees another one who is weakened and in need of help, it revitalizes it by recharging it with an electric shock. In Alola, a plan was recently announced to help build an electric power plant by gathering many Pikachu. If its cheek sacs are very soft and stretchy, this means that it can generate powerful electricity. As shown in Pokémon Sleep, Pikachu is known to emit electricity through its cheeks while sleeping, perhaps because it's dreaming of firing electric shots. Pikachu is a curious, playful, and intelligent Pokémon who primarily eats fruits and roasts Berries with its electricity to make them tender enough to eat. However, it can end up accidentally burning them too much if it underestimates the intensity of its charge, as it has a tendency to blast new things it finds. In The Electric Tale of Pikachu, it is also depicted eating and sometimes destroying telephone poles, wires, and other electronic equipment. Pikachu raises its tail to monitor its surroundings and bites people who yank it, as it does not like having it pulled. While doing this, its tail is sometimes struck by lightning. Wild Pikachu live in forested areas away from people and with others of its kind in nests, as seen in the Pokémon the Series episode Pikachu's Goodbye (EP039). Such forests are dangerous, though, as trees there are often struck by lightning. When Pikachu meet, their tails make contact and they exchange electricity through them to greet each other. Relatedly, in A Plethora of Pikachu! (SM091), it is shown that Pikachu from Alola are known to greet each other by sniffing one another and rubbing their tails together. In the Pokémon Adventures manga, it is considered exceptionally rare, though it seems to be a quite common Pokémon in other forms of media. Many Pokémon Trainers prefer Pikachu's cute appearance over Raichu's, which is why the latter is not commonly seen among them. Because of the popularity of Pikachu-themed merchandise, dresses itself in a Pikachu cloth in an effort to look less scary and make friends and appease its loneliness. Unfortunately, its creepy costume only ends up doing the opposite. By occasion, Pikachu can get unintentionally swallowed by . While startled, it looks for ways to escape from the latter. Pikachu, along with Pichu and Raichu, is related to . Forms Pikachu has sixteen additional forms that fall into four groups: Cosplay Pikachu, Pikachu in a cap, the partner Pikachu, and Gigantamax Pikachu. Additionally, many other Pikachu variants have appeared in various media. Cosplay Pikachu Cosplay Pikachu is always female, has a black heart-shaped spot at the end of its tail, and can be dressed in any of five outfits corresponding to the five Contest conditions. Pikachu in a cap Pikachu in a cap is always male and has eight variants, each wearing one of Ash's hats from Pokémon the Series. Pikachu in a cap is the only known Pokémon capable of using the Z-Move 10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt. Pikachu in a Cap cannot use Catastropika or Gigantamax. Partner Pikachu The partner Pikachu is the Pokémon the player starts with in Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu!. This Pikachu can be either gender. It has higher base stats than normal Pikachu. Unlike other Pikachu, the partner Pikachu can learn the exclusive moves Zippy Zap, Floaty Fall, and Splishy Splash, as well as having access to the Partner Power Pika Papow. The partner Pikachu is not differentiated from standard Pikachu in Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!'s Pokédex, and it cannot be transferred out of the games. Gigantamax Pikachu As Gigantamax Pikachu, it becomes larger and chubbier. Its tail becomes longer and becomes capable of storing all of the electricity it generates, causing it to glow a bright yellow and enabling it to become as powerful as a lightning strike. Three red clouds float around the tail. Its power is equal to that of a power plant; however, it is difficult to use it in peoples' homes since Pikachu can only remain in its Gigantamax form for a short time. Mr. Windychu & Ms. Wavychu Mr. Windychu and Mrs. Wavychu will be characters in Pokémon Winds and Waves respectively. They resemble a tanned Pikachu with clothes similar to the playable character. No further information is known. Evolution Pikachu evolves from and evolves into . In Alola, it evolves into Alolan Raichu. Cosplay Pikachu, Pikachu in a cap, Partner Pikachu, and Pikachu with the Gigantamax Factor cannot evolve. (Source: Bulbapedia)
Takeshi685 fan favoritesExternal profileTakeshi is known as "Brock" in the English Pokémon series. He is the former gym leader of Nibi (Pewter) City who gives up his position to travel with Satoshi (Ash) and Kasumi (Misty) on their journey to catch Pokémon. He aspires to become a top class breeder. He has a weakness for pretty girls and ends up either getting dragged away by Kasumi, Max or stabbed by his Croagunk. At the end of Diamond and Pearl, he's decided to part ways from Dawn and Ash to become a Pokemon Doctor.
Hikari547 fan favoritesExternal profileDawn is a 10-year-old girl who has just started her Pokémon journey. Her mother once won the Grand Festival, and Dawn has her heart set on following in her mother's footsteps and aims to be a great Coordinator. She befriended her starter Piplup while searching for a Chimchar that escaped from Professor Rowan's lab. Shortly afterward, she met up with Ash after finding Pikachu, who was on the run from Team Rocket. Dawn decided to join Ash on his journey through Sinnoh. Dawn's Pokemon: Piplup Buneary Pachirisu Mamoswine (Evolved from Swinub and then Piloswine) Quilava (Evolved from Cyndaquil) Togekiss Ambipom (Evolved from Aipom; originally Ash's) Buizel (Traded to Ash)
Pochama68 fan favoritesExternal profilePiplup is a light-blue, penguin-like Pokémon, which is covered in thick down to insulate against the cold. It has a dark blue head with a primarily white face and a short, yellow beak. The dark blue feathers on its head extend down its back and around its neck, which causes it to appear to be wearing a cape. There are two white ovals on its chest and a small, light-blue marking resembles a crown above its beak. It has flipper-like arms and yellow feet with three toes each. Piplup has a strong sense of self-pride. Because of its pride, it has a hard time accepting food from humans and bonding with its caretakers. It will even puff out its chest after it falls down, which it often does due to its poor walking abilities. However, it is a skilled swimmer that can dive for over ten minutes in order to hunt. It has also been shown to fly short distances in the animated series. It lives along the seashore in colder climates. It has been recently seen living in the Terarium of Blueberry Academy. Evolution Piplup evolves into , which evolves into . (Source: Bulbapedia)
Arceus24 fan favoritesExternal profileArceus is a white, equine Pokémon with an androgynous appearance. It resembles a qilin or centaur with a gray, vertically striated underside. The striated pattern also appears on the underside of its mane, tail, and face. Its four pointed feet are tipped with gold hooves. Its long mane juts away from its head, and its face is gray, with green eyes, red pupils, and a green circular pattern below its eyes. Arceus also has a streak of gold coloration on its head, which points upward. Its neck is fairly long, with two pairs of extrusions to the sides, and a flap-like feature on the neck's underside that is colored white like much of the body. Arceus also has a golden cross-like wheel attached to its body by its round abdomen. The wheel also has four green jewels attached to it. The pattern of striated gray of Arceus's underbelly continues past its waist. Its limbs have gray undersides and extrusions at the tops of the legs. Arceus's tail is similar to its mane in terms of shape and coloration. It is capable of flight. According to Sinnoh mythology, a single Pokémon Egg emerged from a vortex of complete chaos and nothingness predating the Pokémon universe. Arceus hatched from this egg and shaped the universe using its 1,000 arms, including the Sinnoh (then known as Hisui) and Ransei regions. It also created the eggs from which the Pokémon of myth, , , and , and the lake guardians, , , and , hatched from, and can recreate these eggs if it wants to. It is the oldest Pokémon in existence; as such, it is referred to as "Original One" in folklore. Arceus banished Giratina to the Distortion World due to its violent nature, and gave the lake guardians the power to control and calm either Dialga or Palkia should they become enraged. Like the Pokémon of myth, Arceus also resides in another dimension, a realm beyond time and space itself. There, it appears as a silhouette of golden light. Arceus was also shown to be capable of speech, stating that "Arceus" is simply the name humans call it. The ancient Sinnoh people worshipped it, referring to it as "almighty Sinnoh," "great Sinnoh," and "might of Sinnoh," with the term "Sinnoh" later on becoming the name of the region. The Diamond Clan and Pearl Clan also worshipped it, though they mistook Dialga and Palkia respectively for Arceus. Both Palkia and Dialga's Origin Formes have body shapes similar to that of Arceus; this resemblance is believed to be a strategy in order to gain Arceus' powers. Professor Laventon describes Arceus as "the heavenly fount from which pours the light that shines across Hisui" and the protector of all Pokémon. In ancient myths, it is said that the Origin Ore, an ore of mysterious power, contains the power of Arceus itself. As shown in Arceus and the Jewel of Life (M12), Arceus was known to care for and safeguard the planet in ancient times, protecting the world from cataclysms such as meteors, and it would show gratitude and compassion to those who treated it with kindness. At the same time, Arceus does not suffer fools gladly; it will attack in a violent rampage if betrayed or deceived and holds long grudges if betrayed by those it considered friends. In modern times, Arceus continues to watch over the world and wishes for people and Pokémon to work together in the face of adversity. Even when it is needed, it only gives hints on how to solve problems instead of directly interfering. Arceus can also give its blessing to other Pokémon through bolts of light, making them bigger and more powerful, as seen with the ancient hero's 10 Pokémon companions. This blessing is passed down through family lines, as seen with the descendants of the hero's Pokémon: the noble Pokémon and ride Pokémon worshiped by the people of Hisui. In Arceus and the Jewel of Life, Arceus is portrayed as having powers such as bringing back things that it once destroyed, making certain things vanish into thin air, halting time, and overturning the very laws of nature. In said movie, using its Earth, Splash, Meadow, Zap, and Draco Plates, it created the Jewel of Life, a powerful artifact capable of turning a desolate land into a rich and fertile one. In Hoopa and the Clash of Ages (M18), it was shown to be able to stop the destruction caused by a space-time void. As shown in the Pokémon Journeys: The Series episode Showdown at the Gates of Warp! (JN090), Arceus has the power to not only calm Dialga and Palkia, but also destroy the Red Chain controlling them. Arceus also has the power to split in two, creating a piece of itself to exist outside of its realm. In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Arceus transformed a normal smartphone into an Arc Phone, a device that allows humans to communicate with it through text messages. Arceus also has the power to appear in dreams and create a variety of Pokémon to serve as challenges, as seen in Eternal Battle Reverie. In Pokémon Masters EX, through the sync stone ultimate, Arceus can give its blessing to a Pokémon Trainer it deems worthy, transforming their outfits into costumes known as arc suits. As a result, their sync pair is blessed as well, granting them a divine move over their normal sync move. Forms Arceus has eighteen different forms, one for each type. Through its Multitype Ability, Arceus can change its type at will by holding one of its Plates or a type-specific Z-Crystal. This causes its eyes, underbelly, face, hooves, snout, gems, and cross-like wheel to change color to match its current type. In Arceus and the Jewel of Life, it is also said to feed off the energy of its Plates. In Alola, the Aether Foundation gathered Arceus's data from myths and legends told in Canalave City's library to create an artificial Pokémon who was initially named Type: Full. Equipped with the RKS System, an Ability that allows it to simulate Arceus's Multitype through memories, it was developed during the Beast killer project to protect Alola from the Ultra Beasts. However, the project was deemed a failure and was later abandoned, and Type: Full's Ability was sealed with a control helmet, which caused it to devolve and be renamed Type: Null. Gladion eventually discovered it and renamed it Silvally, with their newfound bond allowing it to reawaken its dormant powers. (Source: Bulbapedia)
Giratina12 fan favoritesExternal profileGiratina is a large gray draconic Pokémon with three gold half-rings on each side of its long neck. Its head has a gold crown-like object surrounding it with two large horns pointing sideways. A thick black stripe runs vertically along its front with five red horizontal stripes. In its Altered Forme, it has two large black ghostly wings with three red tips on each that can resemble claws. These wings can change shape as if made of a liquid or gas. Its six legs are thick and have golden claws. Two golden half-circles similar to those on its neck are on each side of each leg, resembling shackles. It has a tail with two band-like markings. According to the myths and legends of the Hisui/Sinnoh region, in the beginning of existence, the Mythical Pokémon created the eggs in which the Pokémon of antimatter–Giratina, the Pokémon of time–, and the Pokémon of space–, hatched from, all three in their Origin Formes. After the Pokémon universe was created, due to Giratina's violent nature, Arceus banished it to the Distortion World, a world that lies on the reverse side of the Pokémon world. Since then, it carried a strong grudge against its creator and was willing to stand against it with the help of Volo, but after being defeated by a human from another time and fleeing, it would change its ways to protect the universe from threats such as , who had a similar goal to its former partner. In Pokémon the Series, Giratina is instead shown to reside in the Reverse World, which is similar to the Distortion World. Giratina is highly aggressive and territorial, likely other reasons for its banishment. It has been reported to appear in ancient cemeteries. Giratina has the power to tear holes in reality, sometimes even creating a space-time rift, being so big and powerful that it can even throw both Dialga and Palkia into a frenzy. This rift might also spread smaller space-time distortions all over the region it was created in, creating Alpha Pokémon and releasing bolts of lightning that throw noble Pokémon into a frenzy. It is also capable of cloaking itself in darkness as it attacks. It generally moves by levitating itself in the air, as opposed to walking on its six legs. Giratina is said to be equal in strength to its siblings Dialga and Palkia. Giratina is said to have observed the real world silently while in its home dimension. It remains in its Altered Forme while outside of its home dimension. Unlike in the games, Pokémon movies depict Giratina only opening portals through reflective surfaces. Giratina also had many different titles throughout the years: "the banished Pokémon", "Arceus's shadow", "the Pokémon of Shadows", and "the being on the other side of our world". Forms Giratina can change between its Altered Forme and Origin Forme. Compared to Palkia and Dialga, both of which resemble Arceus in their Origin Formes, Giratina's Origin Forme takes on a serpentine look. Its legs are reduced to golden-tipped spikes, and four additional golden spikes appear near the edge of its tail. While in Origin Forme, the six gold half-rings can grip objects. The back points of each half-ring have a black ghostly tendril with a red spike at its tip. The horns on its head are now facing the back. The sides of the golden "crown" cover its mouth and separate vertically like an insect's mandible when it opens its mouth. The black vertical stripe is broken into pieces and runs down its body. The Origin Forme of Giratina is said to be Giratina's true form, capable of traveling through and controlling dimensions besides those of time and space. Giratina can retain its Origin Forme while in its home, the Distortion World, or when holding either a Griseous Orb or Griseous Core. Giratina can also maintain its Origin Forme in the real world without items should it get a sufficient amount of power, enough to potentially be equal to Arceus. Giratina is at its full power when in the Origin Forme, and is always levitated in this state. When in its Origin Forme, it can pass through dimensions at will, although it will turn back to its Altered Forme due to the gravity change from the Distortion World. Giratina has the power to turn itself into a shadow and to merge the Distortion World with the Pokémon world, as seen during the events of Spear Pillar. However, this has the dangerous side effect of distorting it to the risk of being destroyed. In Pokémon Adventures, Giratina was shown to be capable of using the terrain of the Distortion World to encase and trap its targets. Palkia4 fan favoritesExternal profilePalkia is a light-purple, theropod-like Pokémon with stripes and markings of a darker shade and gray underarms and waist. It has round purple-striped plates on its shoulder area, where two pink pearl-like crystals lie encrusted with a gray rim encircling them, and fin-like wings on its back. Palkia's arms have extended formations resembling gauntlets and a purple band around each wrist. Palkia has a long neck that is normally bent, a pointed white crest on the top of its head that extends to its wings, two strong horn-like tusks on the sides of its jaw, and a powerful tail. It has faint cracks along its legs and tail. According to the myths and legends of the Hisui/Sinnoh region, in the beginning of existence, the Mythical Pokémon created eggs in which the Pokémon of space–Palkia, the Pokémon of time–, and the Pokémon of antimatter–, hatched from, all three in their Origin Formes. Arceus also created the lake guardians and gave them the mission of calming down Dialga or Palkia whenever they were enraged. After the Pokémon universe was created, Palkia retreated into its own dimension, where it has lived ever since. It was revered and feared as a deity in the past, being worshiped by the Pearl Clan, who mistook it for Arceus and referred to it as "almighty Sinnoh". Palkia is capable of speaking human language via telepathy, as seen when it communicates through the leader of the Pearl Clan, Irida. Palkia and Dialga may be also thrown into a frenzy by powerful space-time distortions created by Giratina. They can control and spread said distortions, resulting in the generation of alpha Pokémon and causing noble Pokémon to become frenzied through lightning bolts that come out of them. Palkia has power over space: it can warp space and travel to faraway places, as well as alternate dimensions and parallel timelines. Additionally, it is capable of rending its targets along with the space around it. It even has the power to destroy and create an entire universe, either by itself or with Dialga's aid. As seen in Pokémon Journeys: The Series, Palkia can open and close dimensional portals to alternate universes. It is said that the birth of Palkia was what caused the walls of the world to disappear, creating a sky that spans for infinity, and that space becomes more stable with its every breath. Palkia usually travels by levitating. Since it primarily resides in a different dimension, its behavior is nearly impossible to study. In the anime, Palkia has been shown to be very protective of its home, and as a result, tends to have violent conflicts with Dialga when their dimensions intersect. Palkia is capable of travelling by creating a large yellow sphere from its two pearls, then using it to fly very fast, as seen in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon. Forms Palkia can change between its standard form and its Origin Forme. In its Origin Forme, which is said to be its true form, Palkia's appearance changes drastically from its other theropod-like Forme, taking on a centaur-dragon hybrid look while resembling its creator, Arceus. The main body becomes larger and grayish pink, with light gray accents on the tips of its wings and legs, along with various dark purple accents. Its shoulder plates are larger and seem to be made of the same pearl-like crystals as the ones embedded at the center, with six rectangular dark purple protrusions surrounding them. Its lower half becomes bigger and resembles that of a horse. Palkia's arms become its forelegs, with hooves, protrusions on the knees, and rectangular spikes on its upper forelegs akin to its other Forme's arms. The back legs gain hooves as well, with heels on the back of the foot, and they are bent in such a way that allows Palkia to stand up on its two back legs. The tail becomes shorter and splits into five. On the center of Palkia's abdomen is a structure consisting of two dark purple circular shapes connected to two circles of the same color, resembling Arceus's cross-like wheel. Palkia's neck and markings on its lower body become shorter. The pointed crest on its neck becomes taller and longer. Its lower jaw gets a plate-like mask covering it, with multiple spikes all over it: one at the front, a pair extending towards the bottom of the jaw, and two pairs on either side extending towards the back. The plate-like mask can be lowered to reveal its mouth when roaring or using attacks. Palkia is at its full power when in its Origin Forme, and is supposedly permanently in this state while in its home dimension, which is said to be in shreds as if it had been torn to ribbons. It has the power to warp, destroy, and create space itself. It is believed that the reason why Palkia's Origin Forme resembles Arceus is to strategically gain its power. Palkia's transformation into its Origin Forme can be triggered using the Lustrous Globe or through a radiant light. Origin Forme Palkia can walk on all fours and fly, and is capable of unleashing meteors and shockwaves. Its Spacial Rend can even be charged into a more powerful version of itself while in Origin Forme, as seen in its boss battle in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. The crystals and purple accents on Palkia's body glow brightly when it uses its powers. (Source: Bulbapedia) No voice actors have been added to this character. Damos1 fan favoritesExternal profileDamos once witnessed Arceus sacrificing its life to save the world from meteors. Arceus sustained heavy damage doing this, and lost possession of its Plates. Damos returned them to Arceus, and as gratitude for saving its life, Arceus granted him the Jewel of Life, made of five of them, to revitalize Michina Town, at that time a wasteland. Though Arceus made Damos promise to return the Jewel of Life at the time of the next solar eclipse, Marcus was fearful that Michina Town would revert to its lifeless state if this was done, and together the two betrayed Arceus, with Damos under the control of Marcus's Bronzong's Hypnosis. Ash, Dawn, Brock and Sheena travel back in time with the help of Dialga to prevent Arceus's betrayal. It was revealed Marcus used to be Damos's underling but overthrew the latter and put him in prison. There he finds out from Ash and co. that he would betray Arceus in the near future and that Marcus is behind everything. Thanks to the help of his friend, the Spiky-eared Pichu, he managed to break free. He saved Sheena from certain doom and managed to convince her that he isn't a betrayer like the legend makes him out to be. Together they stop all of the Pokémon from attacking Arceus by connecting with them. Damos manages to break through Arceus's anger and connect with it thereby calming it down. He then later bids farewell to the "future children" and makes a stone engraving with them on it for them to see when they get back to the future.
Dialga1 fan favoritesExternal profileDialga is a dark-blue, sauropod-like Pokémon with some gray metallic portions and light blue stripes. It has a chest plate on its torso, which has a deep blue diamond-like crystal embedded in the center. Dialga has a five-spiked fin-like structure on its back similar to a gear, three spines on the back of its neck, and a crest on its head, resembling a dinosaur. The crest somewhat resembles the shape of a sundial's rod. It also has two structures on the sides of its head that extend outward and resemble horns and fangs. It has three claws on each foot, of the same metallic look as its chest plate. According to the myths and legends of the Hisui/Sinnoh region, in the beginning of existence, the Mythical Pokémon created eggs in which the Pokémon of time–Dialga, the Pokémon of space–, and the Pokémon of antimatter–, hatched from, all three in their Origin Formes. Arceus also created the lake guardians and gave them the mission of calming down Dialga or Palkia whenever they were enraged. After the Pokémon universe was created, Dialga retreated into its own dimension, where it has lived since. It was revered and feared as a deity in the past, being worshiped by the Diamond Clan, who mistook it for Arceus and referred to it as "almighty Sinnoh". Dialga is capable of speaking human language via telepathy, as seen when it communicates through the leader of the Diamond Clan, Adaman. Dialga and Palkia may be also thrown into a frenzy by powerful space-time distortions created by Giratina. They can control and spread said distortions, resulting in the generation of alpha Pokémon and causing noble Pokémon to become frenzied through lightning bolts that come out of them. Dialga has the power to control time: it can warp time by either speeding it up, slowing it down, reversing it, or stopping it altogether. It can also travel through time to visit the past, present, and future. Additionally, it is capable of blasting its targets with power that distorts time itself. It also has the power to destroy and create an entire universe, either by itself or with Palkia's aid. As shown in Pokémon Journeys: The Series, Dialga's temporal powers can make Pokémon to devolve and cause people and plant life to become younger, effects that it can reverse. It is said that time started moving when Dialga was born and will continue flowing as long as its heart beats. Dialga usually travels by levitating. Since it primarily resides in a different dimension, its behavior is nearly impossible to study. In the anime, Dialga has been shown to be very protective of its home, and as a result, tends to have violent conflicts with Palkia when their dimensions intersect. The fin-like structure on its back is shaped radiating outwards and can be used to focus the flow of time, as seen in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon. Forms Dialga can change between its standard form and its Origin Forme. Said to be the its true appearance, Dialga's Origin Forme is drastically different from its usual sauropod-like look, being a hybrid between it, a dragon, and a centaur, while also resembling its creator, Arceus. The back legs of Dialga become unguligrade in shape and have pointed tips instead of feet. The front legs are noticeably larger, with three distinct rhomboid claws on the underside. Further up, Dialga's knees have rectangular, long, and thin protrusions. Its chest plate is gone; however, it has a similar polygonal shape in its place. On Dialga's neck is a large shape jutting out towards the front (giving it the appearance of a larger throat), along with two pairs of protrusions on either side, the upper pair being larger and resembling panels or wings. Inside this large shape and wing-like protrusions are deep blue diamond-like crystals, embedded into diamond-shaped grooves. The three spines located on the back of its neck are longer and sharper. Dialga's head has two thin arrow-shaped horns extending towards the top and back of its head, along with longer fang-like horns connected to a plate mask covering its lower jaw, which can shift in angle to reveal the mouth. The plate mask also partly covers the arrow-shaped horns on their sides. Around Dialga's abdomen is a cross made of four arrow shapes attached to a small wheel, reminiscent of Arceus's cross-wheel. The fin-like plate on Dialga's posterior has a star-shaped layer on top of it. The tail is much shorter and crystal-shaped. Overall, Dialga's entire body becomes larger and nearly completely dark blue. The crest, arrow-shaped horns, knee protrusions, and abdomen cross are light blue, while the tips of Dialga's fin-like plate and feet are dark gray. Dialga is at its full power when in its Origin Forme, and is supposedly permanently in this state while in its home dimension, where time is said to be constantly moving in different directions and speeds. It has the power to warp, destroy, and create time. Dialga's transformation into its Origin Forme is triggered by a radiant light; it can also be invoked using the Adamant Crystal. Origin Forme Dialga can unleash meteors and shockwaves, while its Roar of Time can be charged into a stronger version of itself, as seen in its boss battle in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. The crystals and light blue accents on Dialga's body glow brightly when it uses its powers. Primal Dialga A unique variant of Dialga, called Primal Dialga resembles a normal Dialga with a darkened color. The main body is colored dark blue. The center diamond-like crystal is colored dark orange. The lines in its body are also orange. Primal Dialga cannot control time due to it being tampered with. It acts much more aggressively than Dialga normally would. It can still use its time abilities to some extent. It can also prevent others from time traveling, even cancelling out 's time powers.
