Synopsis

Defiant and vulgar, Princess Kaguya Takenouchi is not the heir to the moon's Silver Court that her mother's retainers had hoped for. But when the empress falls ill during a wave of terrorist attacks, Kaguya resolves to do right by her people and rise to the occasion. Although she is a problem child unlike an princess, she has an honest and spoiled personality. When her mother Fujiya falls ill, she begins to become aware of her role as a princess. In the year 1502 of the Imperial calendar, while the coming-of-age ceremony is being held in the absence of the Ginko, the party is attacked by the Tenkyu Party. In order to prevent the recapture of the throne, Fujiya entrusts her with the Shugendo, which indicates her status as a princess, and she leaves the moon and travels to the Imperishable Planet (Earth).
