Synopsis

Sachiko Saeki is a normal high school student who becomes a target of bullying by a trio of classmates. The bullying escalates and spreads to include her entire class, as well as her teacher. The series is based on the bullying experience of draft writer Mamoru Tsuchiya's daughter. At the time of release, bullying was a social problem in the spotlight. As a result, Shueisha took the issue seriously and launched the series to raise awareness of bullying.
