Luc is the holder of the True Wind Rune, and is an apprentice under Leknaat. He is originally from Harmonia, but he was involved in some kind of incident about ten years before the Dunan Unification War at the One Temple. He participated in both the Gate Rune Wars and Dunan Unifciation War upon Leknaat's command, and grudgingly fights in these wars. However, when he confronted Sasarai, a Harmonian High Priest, he showed rare enthusiam to fight and caused the Harmonian forces to flee. Sometime after the Dunan Unification War, he became worried about the future he saw coming from the True Rune, and angered at his destiny as a vessel for True Runes. He believed that there would be complete balance (Dharma) in the world, and it would be lifeless. He decided to take things into his own hands, and attempted to destroy a true rune: his. He enlisted prominent strategist Albert Silverberg (who helped him recruit Yuber the Black Knight) and Sarah, the great magician whom he rescued from the Circle Palace in Crystal Valley previously. Albert knows that to destroy the True Rune, he needs control of multiple other true runes, namely the other elemental runes. To execute his plan, he became a bishop in Harmonia thanks to Hikusaak, his identity hidden by a mask. Knowing he needs to bring the other true elemental rune bearers out into the open, he first starts rumors about the Fire Bringer being active in the Grasslands. Then he helped incite a war in the Grasslands by having Sarah attack the Lizard Clan disguised as Chris Lightfellow of the Zexen Knights. The Lizard Clan Chief Zepon is killed in the attack, causing the infuriated Lizard Clan; to ambush the Zexen Knights, resulting in all-out war in the Grasslands. The ensuing conflict allowed him access to the bearers of the True Fire, Water, Earth, and Lightning Runes, and he was able to steal the runes using a technique he learned in Harmonia. However, the Fire Bringer led by the Flame Champion; were able to defeat him at the Ceremonial Site, and stop his plans. He realized the futility of his plans, and makes peace with his mentor Leknaat, whom he betrayed, but it is too late for him. Yuber is a complete mystery. He is known as The Black Knight, but otherwise no one really knows who he is--or what he is. Actually, no one even knows wether Yuber is a he or a she. All that is known about him is that he owns a True Rune, the Eightfold Rune, which has unknown powers. Yuber himself possesses powers that are clearly beyond that of a human being. Yuber is often seen in the midst of conflicts, such as during the Gate Rune Wars, Dunan Unification War, and the Second Fire Bringer War. He has been a subordinate of Windy for centuries though, helping her find True Runes and destroying countless lives in the process. He was hired by the Highland Army during the Dunan Unification War mainly due to Leon Silverberg who knew Yuber for some reason. When Luc began to put together his plan to destroy the True Wind Rune, Yuber assisted him for the simple reason that the plan would cause mass chaos and death, which Yuber is fond of. In every conflict that he is a part of, when the going gets tough, he deserts to save his life, like a true mercenary. Yuber harbors a great hatred towards other True Runes and actively tries to destroy whoever wields their power. The cause for this is unknown as well. Only Pesmerga knows more about Yuber. A very quiet and shy person, Thomas was sent from his home in the [Northern Outlands:Nameless Lands] to see his father, Lowma, the head of the Zexen Merchant Guilds, for the first time. His father sent him to be the master of Budehuc Castle to be rid of him. Under Thomas' leadership, Budehuc Castle became a center of free trade, and he resisted all attempts from the Zexen Council to stop the free trade or resign. Eventually, the castle served as the base for the Fire Bringer. He excelled in his class while studying in Harmonia; his philisophy starts to become like that of Leon, his grandfather, and he attains a high position in the Harmonian Army. This is not enough for him, and he helps Luc and the Destroyers in their quest as it will help him in his goal to get a higher position in the Harmonian hierarchy. He fought alongside the Flame Champion in the Fire Bringer War, and helped protect the Grasslands. After the war, he wandered the lands until about fourty years later when he finally joined the Harmonian Southern Frontier Defense Force. He becomes the leader of the Twelfth Unit, and participates in the Second Fire Bringer War with his team. It is during this time that he decides to stop worrying about dying and to truly live.
