About this title
Synopsis
Story about a young woman who after her family dies goes to a magician to wish them back. She ends up becoming his assistant until she makes a wish he can grant. His name remains unknown since he said there is a curse attached to his name. He also grants wishes to live, if he doesn't fulfill a wish, no matter how selfish it could be, he'll die. Though K is a cranky, cold individual when he grants wishes they tend to, in the end, result in good rather than hurt. Regardless of who heartless he seems if he makes a mistake with his power he'll take utmost responsibility to atone for it. Unknown to Ryu Jin, her brother was K's teacher. K is apart of the same race as Yuri, meaning that when he falls in love, when his love dies, his heart will ultimately burst. After being angry at her family for leaving to Hawaii without her, she says she hopes they die before their plane arrives, and it happened even when it's not what she wished for. After that even, she goes to K, the mysterious magician to bring them back since it was a mistake. When K says he can't bring them back he conscripts her to work as his assistant until she finds something to wish for. Though she first resents K and expects the worst of him she grows to see him as a friend and hinted to be, someone she cares about. She doesn't really think about what she'll eventually wish for but in volume 6 Y reads her future to get an idea of what she'll wish for. Y doesn't reveal to her what she'll wish for to her face but instead makes her promise that when she does make her wish she'll think of how much she's come to like K.
