In Summer

In Summer is a collection which consists of two bitter stories at the start but which ultimately bring balm to the heart. Each story illustrates a chance encounter experienced by two protagonists who suffered from loneliness, the loss of a loved one or school bullying, the most salient portrait of Korean society, particularly among young people. By sharing moments with each other under the splendor of the summer sun, accompanied by the song of the cicadas and the sound of the sea, they open up and understand each other.
