About this title

Synopsis

Half a year ago, the four members of a literature club, as well as the elementary school niece of their faculty adviser, were bestowed with supernatural powers. The boy in the club, Ando Jurai, became able to produce black flames. The girls acquired a variety of powerful abilities: Tomoyo could slow, speed, or stop time, Hatoko could control the five elements (earth, water, fire, wind, light), little Chifuyu could create things, and Sayumi could repair objects or heal living things. However, since they gained these powers, nothing has really changed in their everyday life. Why have they been given these powers in the first place? Hatoko Kushikawa is one of the main characters of Ino Battle wa Nichijo-kei no Naka de. She is also a part of the Literature Club. She is a polite air-headed girl who often takes Jurai's chunibyo antics seriously. Her power is "Over Element," which gives her the ability to manipulate five main elements of the natural world: earth, water, fire, wind, and light. She is also Jurai's childhood friend and next door neighbor, who sometimes drops by to his house to cook for him and his big sister, since both of them admit to being bad at cooking. Jurai is the main protagonist of Inou-Battle wa Nichijou-kei no Naka de. He is part of the school Literature Club on his right hand he has a superpower called, "Dark and Dark." Jurai is a tall teenager. He has black hair, and his eye color is green. His usual clothing is his school uniform, red coat, white shirt, blue tie, white pants and light brown shoes. Sometimes, he pulls up the sleeve of his clothing on his right arm to the elbow whenever he uses his ability. Jurai is a goofy boy. Due to his Chuunibyou Syndrome, he often falls into a world of his own, causing annoyance to those around him. Because of this, he has developed a very carefree personality that can often accept other peoples' faults without much trouble. When he gained his superpower, he was excited, saying that even though it didn't do much, he still loved it all the same, because every guy wants one.
