Synopsis

In the magical place called Jewel Land, the magicians turned the Jewelpets into Jewels so they can travel to the magic forest but with the exception of Ruby, a white rabbit who likes to goof off. But then a strong wind blew the stork and the jewels were spilled, scattering them across Takaragaseki City on Earth. Ruby, now being punished, is sent to Earth to retrieve her friends. On Earth, a student named Rinko is on her balcony observing the night sky and saw a group of shooting stars and one of them falls into her water glass to become a red jewel. The next day she and her friend Minami was saved by a guy named Keigo Taitō from a jewelry store robbery. He then explained to them that he's working from a special organization which is linked to the magicians of Jewel Land and told them about the Jewelpets. As Rinko awakened Ruby, and then met Alice later on, It's now their task to gather all the Jewelpets together back to Jewel Land before an evil Jewelpet named Diana gets them first. As the Series Progress, the main heroines uncover new Jewelpets on their way. But on the same time, Dian, another Jewelpet who can use Dark Magic awakens from his Jewel State. And now the heroes will face him and the havoc and chaos I'll cause in both Jewel Land and the Human World. (Source: WIkipedia)

Ruby is Rinko and Akari's Jewelpet partner and the secondary heroine of the series. She is a White Japanese Hare who symbolizes courage and wears a pink and red cherry blossom on her head. She also wears a necklace shaped like a pair of red cherries. Ruby is the only Jewelpet who has the "Acrylic Class" ranking due to her magic, which can cause bad luck and explosions when she casts it to someone but sometimes her magic has 1% chance of success. Due to her bad behavior, in-attendance and goofing off, she was punished by the Four Witches of Jewel Land, turning her into a Jewel Charm and sent her to Earth to find all of her lost friends. Her Jewel Charm form fell into Rinko's drinking glass on that night and then being awakened by Rinko's Magic using the Jewel Pocketbook the next day. Her personality is a bit joyful, brash, happy and sometimes a BIG troublemaker, which makes her partner Rinko have a hard time handling her. Despite all of this, she and Rinko were appointed to find the other missing Jewelpets on Earth and handling every problem her partner encounters. It's revealed that Ruby is the ancestor of the savior of both the Human World and Jewel Land along with Rinko's Ancestor. She has a big crush on Tooru the American shorthair cat and sometimes called "Romper Lady" by him. in Episode 51, She earned her "Superior Crystal Class" rank in magic and summoned Opal the unicorn in the final battle against Dark Dian. But then she found out that it was temporary as she is now back as an Acrylic Class Jewelpet. In Jewelpet Tinkle, Ruby is a new Student in the Magic Academy. Her first test to get in is to find a Human Partner on Earth, which happens after she met Akari. After that, she got accepted in the academy along with Akari. Her birthday is on July 29th and her name is based on the Gemstone Ruby. Ruby can also use the Jewel Pocketbook to awaken Jewelpets from their jewel forms. She can also wield a miniaturized version of the Jewel Stick for her magic or with Garnet and Sapphy, to summon other Jewelpets from Jewel Land. She has also the ability to summon Opal. In Season 2, Ruby is the only Jewelpet who can use the Jewel Pot while she and Rabura can cast magic together with Akari during some situations in Jewel Land. (Source: Wikipedia)

Sapphie (サフィー, Safii) is Aoi and Sara's Jewelpet partner, she's a yellow and blue Cavalier King Charles spaniel who symbolizes friendship. She wears a pink and blue flower tiara and a necklace shaped like a blue music note. Sapphy knows how her human partner is feeling sometimes and she is always with her every time. Friendly, calm and can understand everyone's feelings, Sapphy knows how kind her friends were in both Jewel Land and on Earth. Her only fear is doctors and hospitals. Despite her personality, she's the highest ranking Jewelpet in Jewel Land, earning her the "Crystal Class" due to the fact that her magic is always successful. In Jewelpet Tinkle, she is Sara's Jewelpet partner. Her birthday is on September 1st and her name is based on the Gemstone Sapphire. Sapphy can also wield a miniaturized version of the Jewel Stick for her magic or with Ruby and Garnet, to summon other Jewelpets from Jewel Land. It's unknown if Sapphy has a Jewel Pot. Garnet is a Persian cat who symbolizes Love. She is friends with Ruby and Sapphie and the most fashionable of the three. Her fur is pink with a white chest fluff and two furry points sticking out at the edge of her ears. Her eyes are made of garnets. She wears a red ribbon on her head and a pink jewel necklace on her neck. Garnet is very girly in terms of personality: sassy, tough, likes the colour pink and cute stuff and sometimes hates really bad men. This personality is somewhat toned down in Jewelpet Twinkle but brought back when Sunshine aired, thought also known to be stylish and bold. this personalty was carried over to the next series: Kira Deco. Unlike her personality in Sunshine, Garnet is more described as a rich person and sometimes assisted by people. In happiness, she is more of a hardworker. Other than her magic skills, Garnet demonstrate good special skills regarding fashion, knowing which clothing is good for the wearer or choosing a good dress. Sometimes this overwhelms her overall personality. As shown in Sunshine, Garnet also has a good knowledge in sewing her own clothes and works for the Strawberry Cafe on her part time job. Garnet's magic skills were in the "Glass Class" ranking, on which her magic can have a success rate of 50%. She herself earned the Crystal Class in the later episodes in the first series. She can also wield a miniaturized version of the Jewel Stick for her magic or with Ruby and Sapphie, to summon other Jewelpets from Jewel Land. Garnet also possesses a Jewel Pod as well. In Kira Deco, its decorated with lots of jewels which matches her personality. But she also uses it to cast her magic spells. Garnet first appeared in the very first episode alongside the other Jewelpets, being turned into a Jewel Charm so she can rest in the Dream Forest. However like the others, she is been lost in the human world when the charms were spilled. Her formal debut however is in Episode 2. When Minami is crying about the fact she can't confess her love to Hisashi Miyamotto, Garnet's Jewel Charm appeared from her tears. Ruby stated that Garnet's power is love and it can be used as an advantage, as Rinko and Ruby used their magic and turn her back into her pet form. However when she looked at her new partner, she harshly refuses due to she was sweaty and stubbornly runs away. Rinko, Ruby and Minami decides to search for her around town and finds her resting at the top of a tree. Rinko tries to climb up the tree in persuasion to make Garnet use her magic, saying that Minami once protected her when she was a kindergarderner and made her happy. Not knowing she still has fear of heights, Rinko fainted and Ruby came to save her. In persuation to make Garnet use her magic, Minami took her back to her home and she sees Minami's room covered in pink.
