Synopsis
Two years after the events of Kengan Ashura, a young man named Narushima Kouga aims to enter the Kengan matches, seeking Tokita Ouma for a yet unknown reason. He begins to work under Yamashita Kazuo when he meets Gaou Ryuuki, a spitting image of Ouma. As a massive showdown between the Kengan Association and Purgatory, another underground martial-arts fighting organization looms in the background, how will Kouga become strong enough to enter in the legendary Kengan fights?

However, after meeting Ouma and being exposed to blood lust and other fighters in the Kengan world, he started to lose his fear of ordinary people such as his manager and even to thugs who threaten to kill him. During the Kengan Annihilation Tournament, Yamashita becomes much more brave and respected. Yamashita Kazuo has a wife and two sons. His wife left him ten years before the story began. He had been employed at Nogi Publishing for 34 years. He enjoys watching martial arts and living a peaceful life. Yamshita's motto is, "Good can come out of misfortune."

Koga is short-tempered and quickly flies off the handle when his buttons are pressed. Despite this, he can be polite when he wants to be and is also surprisingly diligent, working hard so that he doesn't have to owe anyone. No voice actors have been added to this character. While comparing him to Tokita Ohma, Akiyama notes that Ryuki has a gentleness that Ohma didn't have though he also shows a darker side to him Ryuki for some reason seems to hate the criminal organization called Worm.
