Chieko Yamanaka is a maid-to-hire who just got assigned to her new house and is treading carefully since she didn’t do so well at her old position. Chieko was sent to the home of Sanae Yanagizawa, a young female writer, whose aunt was worried about her sloppiness and hired her. She starts off on good footing and her warm personality makes it easier to blend in with the community.
