Synopsis

For those who've killed as much as Kuroko Koumori, there is no doubt that they've lost their sanity. In fact, by proving that she is still sane even after killing as many as 715 people, Kuroko avoids death row. Now given a second chance to remain in society as a State-Appointed Executioner, Kuroko and a girl named Hinako Tozakura are charged with hunting down other killers. While Hinako is a rather happy-go-lucky girl that drives ferraris without a care for the rules of the road (or gravity, for that matter), Kuroko—who Hinako affectionately addresses as "Kuu-chan"—is more of a lascivious lesbian with razor sharp instincts and an impressive aptitude for murder. The two seem like the most unlikely of duos. However, saddled with the gruesome job of ridding the country of vicious serial killers, it only makes sense for the executioners to be anything but normal! An ex-serial killer, now national executioner. Koumori Kuroko loves cute girls, sex, and annihilating her targets. She is now a hired assassin by the Japanese police force, who took her on as she could be reasoned with and could stop criminals the police would have a hard time understanding or subduing. Some members of the police force are wary of this, as she had a record of murdering 715 people before she was caught. As a precautionary measure, the police assigned Hinako Tozakura to keep her in line. She has a girlfriend but actively flirts and sleeps with other women, sometimes using dating sites. Hinako serves as Kuroko's partner, assigned to keep Kuroko in line. She is a lighthearted and innocent yet bold girl. She is extraordinarily skillful at driving/piloting vehicles, ranging from Kuroko's Murcielago to a simple bicycle to a mech. Kuroko motivates her by promising to make her elaborate dinners.
