He is the only biological son of Kongou Yotsurugi, the head of the Yotsurugi Family. According to Terasu, Hibaru's appearance is what some might call "dorky." He tends to wear traditional yakuza attire reminiscent of the Showa Era, which often involves wearing coats draped over the shoulders, leaving the front open. Hibaru has a straight black hair that falls neatly to his jawline, parted down the middle. Notably, he bears a visible scar in the shape of an X on the upper left side of his face, and his eyes have a distinct yellowish hue. Hibaru exhibits traits of kindness, compassion, and respect, as demonstrated by his act of paying for candy instead of collecting protection money, and his insistence on wearing attire to honor his father's memory. He values righteousness, chivalry, and helping the vulnerable, refusing to compromise his beliefs despite societal shifts. Terasu is a member of the Hibaru faction. Characteristics: A calm personality most of the time but is fully capable of making jokes or having big reactions depending on the scenario. Kinpa is a young girl of average height with noticeable features. She has short, peach-colored hair that reaches just to her neck, with fringes that extend past the middle of her blue eyes. When the catastrophe began, Kinpa was already dressed in what appeared to be her school uniform. This uniform, standard for middle schoolers, consists of a sailor-style collar edged in azure blue, an azure blue necktie, and a short skirt also in azure blue. In the character information illustration from Volume 1, Kinpa is also seen carrying a blue backpack Kinpa can be somewhat of a serious person, where she becomes irritated at Hibaru for not simmering down and showing cowardice dealing with the Ghost Thieves. Nonetheless, Kinpa shows her concern for others, where she chooses to take action and help them, while being quick to point out the faults in her friends for not doing so.
