About this title

Synopsis

After the war, there are many "Extends" in the city, people whose bodies were modified to make them into dangerous weapons. Inui Juuzou is one of them, and he has no memories of his life and body before his head was transformed into a gun. Strangely enough, his head-gun is designed so that only someone behind him can pull the trigger. Juuzou makes a living by taking on cases involving Extends in the city, and he is assisted by Mary, an intelligent young woman that he has taken under his protection. (Source: MU)

Juzo Inui became an over-extended Gun Slave Unit from the war. Now he works as processor and deals with issues related to extends. Juzo is a muscular man of a medium to large build. He generally wears a tight black t-shirt under his gray jacket. He is shown to be 6ft, 6in (1.98m). His most distinctive feature is his gun for a head. His head is a revolver with the trigger and handle hanging in the back, and under it, a metallic jaw with a prominent chin. He lacks lips, instead displaying a row of hexagon-shaped teeth. His right hand also displays a gun-like appearance and can be used as one.

Mary is a young engineer who does maintenance on extends. She is a friend of Juuzo's. She performs back-alley maintenance on Extended in the mafia-controlled Kyusei Pit immigrant district, one of the few places in the city not under Berühren Corp control. She provides Juzo with medicated cigarettes after he loses access to his favorite brand. She became a mechanic in hopes of reuniting with her mechanic brother Victor who went missing during the war.
