Synopsis

In a hidden school surrounded by mountains, young ladies of good families are taught everything a high class lady needs to know. They are also completely cut off from the outside world, keeping them sheltered and innocent. However, a problem has come up recently―more and more graduates are failing to cope with the modern world after graduation. To deal with this problem, they've decided to kidnap a male commoner student, and enroll him as a student. They hope that this will be a gentle way to introduce the girls to the outside world. Kagurazaka Kimito is chosen for this dubious honor, mostly because he seems utterly average. However, the school leaders also seem to have concluded he's a homosexual with a muscle fetish. When Kimito hears that the alternative may be castration (to protect the girls' purity), he eagerly plays along with this misconception. She is a genius in fields such as engineering, math, and science, and there was even a special lab built specifically for her use at the academy. She has a very reserved demeanor, showing very little emotion and speaking very little. Despite this she is prone to eccentric behavior, that involves her unconsciously stripping off her clothes and recording things such as complicated mathematical formulas anywhere she can (walls, the floor, etc).

Having long, beautiful black hair, Kimito states she looks like Yamato Nadeshiko (a term used to describe a traditionally ideal Japanese woman) when he first sees her. She carries a real katana (hung at her waist) and has developed her own sword style which she named after herself. Many of her peers seem to be intimidated by her, describing her as a "scary person." When faced with something she likes, she will react by saying things such as "how pointless," though her true feelings are very obvious.

She wants desperately to become popular and convinces Kimito to help her in this pursuit. She and Kimito create the "commoner club," meant to capitalize on the current popularity of anything related to commoners after Kimito's arrival at the academy. Aika is practically incapable of telling lies, and often says what is on her mind, regardless of how others might react. For this reason she has distanced herself from her classmates. She is also very gullible, causing her to be easily tricked by the mischievous Kimito.
