About this title

Synopsis

Fifty years ago, the wielders of the sacred Rave stones fought against an onslaught caused by demon stones called Dark Bring. This war resulted in an explosion known as "Overdrive"—a blast so powerful that it sent the Dark Bring into a deep slumber and scattered the pieces of Rave across the world. In the present, Haru Glory lives a peaceful life on Garage Island until one day, he catches the creature Plue while fishing. Plue is later recognized by Shiba Roses, an old man who happens to be the original Rave Master. Shiba explains that the Dark Bring has resurfaced, and that to stop it, assembling the scattered parts of Rave is of utmost urgency. However, before Shiba can leave on this mission, he is attacked by a soldier from the evil organization Demon Card, forcing him to transfer the power of Rave to Haru. With the fate of humankind resting on his shoulders, the new Rave Master begins his quest to find the scattered Rave fragments. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

In Rave: Plue is the bearer of the Rave Stone, as well as a companion to the Rave Warriors. Plue is a stout, white creature, reminiscent of a snowman, that only comes up to three feet in height. He has a rounded head that is a tad too big for his body, with a horn for a nose that strongly resembles a carrot. Additionally, Plue also has some resemblance to a canine with his monosyllabic pattern of speech, and occasional tendency to walk on all fours. When he is hungry, Plue's nose would deflate. Similarly, when overheated, his whole body wrinkles, and eventually decompresses entirely. Despite its tendency to shrivel under several circumstances, Plue's nose is incredibly hard, enough to pierce through objects of varying hardness, from human flesh to Dark Brings. Plue has strong affections for lollipops. The only word he is capable of saying is "puun", which Griffon Kato seems to be able to understand. He gets easily sidetracked by trivial things, often chasing after peculiar insects and butterflies, or falling asleep at random moments. Despite his small size and overall fragility, Plue does not back away from a fight. He would aid in battle by throwing stones, or giving his enemies lollipops. He is also extremely loyal to his friends, to the point where he willingly sacrifices himself to protect Shiba Roses from the Overdrive. Plue, however, cries very easily. In Fairy Tail: Plue is a Silver Key Celestial Spirit with no actual combat abilities, stated to be usually kept as a pet for less powerful Mages, including Lucy herself as his owner. His key was sold for 20.000 Jewels. Because he is not made for combat, Plue serves as a cute companion instead. He is very obedient and ready to help Lucy whenever she needs his help. Along with that, he enjoys sweets and shares a close friendship with Happy and is often seen teasing Lucy and Loke along with him. He is also very apologetic, as he immediately apologized to his owner after harming her under the influence of Sherry's Magic. (Source: Rave Master Wikia and Fairy Tail Wikia)

Musica is the leader of a band of infamous thieves known as the Silver Rhythm gang that reside in Punk Street. He owns and pilots a flying ship called the Advent. He has long brown hair (in the beginning of the series, but later wears it in a shorter, black, spiky style), has three distinctive piercings above his left eyebrow, and is always wearing a skull necklace that he uses as a weapon in conjunction with his silverclaiming abilities. He first meets Haru Glory and Elie in Punk Street when Haru is there looking for Musica the Blacksmith to fix his broken sword. Elie mistakes him for Musica the blacksmith. He helps Haru rescue Elie from Lance but decides not to join Haru's Group. Musica and Haru's paths soon cross again when Musica helps defeat an assassin sent to kill Haru and Elie, and also helps Haru defeat Shuda and his subordinates. He then officially joins Haru. Musica's power helps Haru's group greatly, as do Musica's fighting skills. He's equal with Haru and the two make a formidable team. He became Haru's good friend, helping him in his search for the Rave Stones, while searching for the Silver Ray. Musica is also very loyal; when one of his subordinates, Snake, got caught during a robbery, he turned himself in to break both of them out. He never once doubts Haru and is always there when he needs him. Musica has a weakness for beautiful women, and will flirt with any beautiful girl he meets. He has the Musica family tattoo on his left shoulder. When he was young, Musica's family was wiped out by Lance the "Beast Sword" of Demon Card, with a sword forged by his grandfather, Galein Musica. He was then taken in by Rize, a silver-claimer, who raised him and taught him the ways of silver-claiming. On Rize's deathbed, he asked Musica to find Silver Ray and destroy it, to which Musica agreed. Musica later discovered that the Oni Fortress River Saly was in fact the Silver Ray in disguise. After a battle with the oni leader Ogre, he managed to destroy the Silver Ray with the help of Reina. The weapon was then reborn as an artifact, which Reina called "The Ocean-Rending spear, Silver Ray". Musica now carries both the Silver Ray and Reina's silver, as they have fused with his own.
