About this title

Synopsis

PriPara is a place where anyone can be an idol. However, a major update went haywire and now PriPara is in danger of disappearing! In the fashion capital of PriParis, the former Prisiennes who used to be charming and sparkly idols have lost their memories and now go about their day-to-day lives feeling as though they're missing something. Things suddenly change when one of these Prisiennes receives an invitation card. On a sleepless night, the rich scent of casablanca fills the air and Phantom Thief Genius Neo appears. "Bienvenue! Let us fall together into nighttime Idol Land PriPara!" Hibiki Shikyouin's brilliant play begins in secret while a detective named Chris searches for the truth behind Phantom Thief Genius Neo! Hibiki is a first year in high school and the grandchild of one of Paprika Private Academy's chairman investors. Hibiki is also known as "The Greatest Prince" having won the "Mr. Universe World Prince of the Year" tournament. Their alter ego in PriPara is the "Thieving Genius." Hibiki is fair skinned with lime-green eyes and has short, silver hair worn in a boys cut that frames the face. At first glance Hibiki comes off as a kind and charming individual who's also fairly humble, however it's soon revealed that's not entirely the case. In reality, they are cunning and manipulative, seeming to have no problem using others for their own agenda. Hibiki is fixated on finding the "Best Princess" for reasons that are currently unknown. They believe that not everyone can be an idol, which, given the nature of series, makes them appear nihilistic and cynical. Because many of their motives are shrouded in mystery, this, combined with their personality gives them an overall shady character.
