About this title

Synopsis

Imperial Academy is an elite private school whose student body is divided into the ranks of Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Depending on your family's wealth and your individual merit, you can be classified as a Silver or Bronze student. However, there is only one Gold student, and this year that person is Shizumasa Touguu—nicknamed "the Emperor" because he is the Student Council President. When she was very young, Haine Otomiya fell in love with Shizumasa, after reading the children's picture book that he authored. She had met him twice before attending Imperial Academy, but as a Bronze student, her rank is far below his, so she has been unable to approach him at school. Haine jumps at an opportunity to get close to Shizumasa, and she unexpectedly becomes his bodyguard as well as a member of the Student Council. It seems like a dream come true for her, but soon she will learn that everyone in the Student Council is hiding secrets, and her own shameful history cannot be forgotten either. The main character of the story, Haine was actually born to the Kamiya family. In 4th grade she was sold by her real father and/or adopted by the Otomiyas. She is not exactly the smartest person in the world, but has a good heart. Back in her 9th grade she was a former " Yanki" or young delinquent and was known as "Cinderella of the beach". But after she met Shizumasa (her first love) Haine changed her ways so she could go to the same school as him and meet him again. No voice actors have been added to this character. Shizumasa's older twin brother. Because of health problems, he is posing as Shizumasa as [Fake] Koutei, though no one knows this except Tōya (but later in the series Haine becomes aware of his "real" identity). In the beginning of the story, he is cold and distant but once influenced by Haine, he becomes more kind and soft. He, at first, hated Haine and thought she was annoying but then he grew to love Haine and wants her to become his. Takanari is the real author of the picture book "Shizumasa" drew. He hates his brother, who also turns out to be unpleasant. A slight difference between Takanari and Shizumasa is that Takanari's hair is more visibly darker than his younger twin brother. Haine's best friend, who is very protective of her. She seems to regard Haine as being more than just a friend, although Haine herself doesn't realize it. She is known as "Lady Hydrangea" (紫陽花の君) by the boys at school. Unfortunately, she absolutely despises boys but was indulging herself with them to get Haine's attention. Birthday: November 3 Blood type: A The vice president of the Student Council. Maguri is Takanari's best friend, even giving him the nickname of Shi-zun (initially he didn't know that Takanari wasn't Shizumasa and later nicknamed him Takataka when he knew). His family are yakuza members, but even then he has a soft side. His brother is Yūkimitsu, who was the former Emperor before Shizumasa. He is also the only one of the student council members to not kiss Haine. At the beginning of the series, he is the secret "lover" of Takanari, but Haine discovers it is just a rumor intentionally spread so that girls would stay away from Takanari. Arina Tanemura imagines J-Drama actor, Mokomichi Hayami as an ideal, cool, and tall Maguri. Their hair texture is about the same. During the invasion, he ties fireworks to his waist in order to scare the guards. No voice actors have been added to this character. The (real) Emperor. He is revered by mostly everyone at Imperial Academy, and it certainly helps that his family is very rich and famous. Shizumasa developed a love for Haine. He is sometimes cruel, but he's a real gentleman to Haine, because of his love for her. Due to his illness, however, his twin brother, Takanari, is currently posing as him. A slight difference between Takanari and Shizumasa is that Shizumasa's hair is more visibly lighter than his older twin brother. No voice actors have been added to this character.
