Synopsis

Gen Shiomi, the 56-year-old boss of the Hitotsubashi mob syndicate, must go into hiding to protect his life from potential assassins. He opts to get plastic surgery, only to end up looking like a teenage girl, but he resolves to stay like this until his life is no longer in danger. However, he finds it hard to not be suspicious, but he is saved from being the target of police by a teenage boy named Tatsuya Umemiya. After helping Tatsuya out of some troubles of his own, Gen is forced to enroll into junior high school as "Shiomi Iwao," only to discover that one of his new classmates is Tatsuya. (Source: MU)

Gen Shiomi is the fourth generation head of the mighty yakuza group Hitotsubashi. However, his succession as the head was disputed, and the dissenters broke away to form a rival gang and began feuding with the Hitotsubashi Group openly. Fearing for his safety, Shiomi's trusted lieutenant Takashi Ishikawa advised his boss to undergo plastic surgery to alter his appearance and lay low for the time being. Shiomi accepted the advice and Ishikawa promptly hired the elusive surgeon Kurou Hazama, who claimed to possess the "hands of God," to do the job. However, the surgeon took Shiomi's request to "make his appearance unrecognizable to others" too literally and altered his entire body into that of a teenage middle school girl. Outraged at such an outcome but having no recourse for the time being, Shiomi decided to proceed with the original plan to lay low. Christening her new self as "Shiomi Iwao," Shiomi is compelled to attend a local middle school to keep up appearances, and thus her wacky new school life begins.
