Synopsis

Jr., the heir of Romana and his battle sabers Cherry and Lime, who have girl circuits are enjoying their peaceful life in Romana. Suddenly, the evil Star-Face and his sexadolls attack Romana in order to take over so Star-Face can become the next High Official. Bloodberry is the third of Japoness' otome kairo marionettes. She represents the aggressive side of femininity, being quite loud, boisterous, headstrong, impulsive and very amorous. She is by far the bustiest, and is openly proud of this fact, often teasing Cherry in particular. She is also the most sexual of the three, often vowing to "make a man" out of Otaru, smothering him with her large breasts and endless amounts of physical affection and pressuring him to marry her. For his part Otaru is much more receptive to Bloodberry's overt advances than the average harem protagonist, often going as far as to compliment her massive bust, to her delight. She is very brave and fierce in battle and has the most raw physical power. She dresses in a black and orange bodysuit and her red hair in a high ponytail. (Source: Wikipedia)

Serving as King Virey's personal guard, Bloodberry is the most skilled and level headed of the three royal marionettes, being the group's voice of reason and role model. When the young prince's older brother, Starface, escapes his exile to seize the throne in a coup d'etat, Bloodberry finds herself as the last line of defense standing between the fair King and his rebellious son as the army of Romaana effortlessly falls under Face's control. Although she could certainly match Starface's so-called Sexadolls in combat under fair conditions, she doesn't stand much of a chance against them in all out combat, severely underequipped to counter their built-in weapons. Forced to flee, Bloodberry vows to protect the young prince, Virey Junior, and to one day return to save his father. Taking notice of Lime's potential and sheer, raw mettle, Bloodberry takes it upon herself to train the youngest yet strongest Saber of the group to do battle against Face's forces, confident that together the three of them would be able to deal with the usurper of the Romaanian throne and his Sexadolls. As far as her abilities go, she's a skilled martial artist plenty capable of holding herself off against multiple assailants without much trouble. She can also detach her hands to use as grappling tools of sorts, being equipped with an extension cable that reaches up to 10.000ft (roughly 3km). She eventually goes on to form a rivalry with the cockiest of Face's dolls, Brid, who regards her as little more than a toy. Cherry is a Saber in charge of tending to the young prince of Romaana, Virey Junior, accompanying him in his day to day tasks and helping him with whatever he needs. Clingy, jealous, arguably possessive and unabashedly flirty towards Junior and Junior alone, Cherry is not at all discreet or shameless in her displays of affection towards the very person she's supposed to care for, often getting angry at Lime for intruding in her moments and ruining her daydreams with the prince. Somewhat of a tactician, she plans routes and scouts out places while on the run from Starface's forces following the coup. She's pretty good with estimates too, though she is not at all very combat capable, needing to be saved by Junior at one point when cornered by Brid. Cherry often has to rely on her fellow Sabers whenever a fight breaks out, but she's able to hold her own when push really comes to shove. A crafty individual, she's equipped with a plethora of gadgets. Her arm houses cabling she can use to interact with terminals and other electronic interfaces, as well as an optical scanner of sorts. Her elbows are fitted with retractable exhaust vents that can serve as blow driers, and she can discharge bursts of heat from her hands and feet that can melt steel surfaces simply by coming in contact with them. She's also pretty skilled at slapping people across the face multiple times with considerable force, for all that's worth. The poor old man would know. She went on to develop a rivalry with Kyanny, Starface's own tactician Sexadoll, who, unlike Cherry, is quite deadly in a fight. Like the other Sabers in use by the royal family, Cherry was built by Starface at some point in time before his ultimate betrayal.

The newest addition to the royal Sabers and the youngest of them, her construction being completed moments prior to Starface's arrest on charges of treason and conspiracy against his father, the King of Romaana, Lime was intended as a gift for his younger brother, Junior. Somewhat childish and emotionally unstable, Lime is a lively marionette with a pure heart. She possesses incredible strength, but has a tough time controlling herself when she gets too into it. Her raw might and resilience was demonstrated live during the final stage of the Romaana Festival's Battle Saber Tournament, where she obliterated the reigning champion, Lun, without much effort, reducing the poor marionette to scrap after replicating her finishing move, which moments prior had buried Lime deep in the arena floor from the sheer force Lun's strike delivered, yet Lime somehow managed to get herself out of her little hole on the ground without so much as a scratch. Lime holds a lot of affection towards Junior, and she shares a sisterly bond with Cherry, who, in spite of feeling incredibly frustrated with the young Lime constantly butting into her moments with the prince, cares a great deal about her all the same. She also does look up to Bloodberry, admiring her fighting prowess, but she does admit to feeling a little bit scared of and intimidated by her, much to Bloodberry's embarrassment. Such feelings of fear, however, seem to disappear once Lime beats her in a mock battle, having trained under her for a good while in order to control her emotions to be more effective in a fight. Has a tendency of going berserk when Junior's life is put in danger. The first time she acted in such a manner was when Edge captured and tortured Junior, unleashing so much energy in her attack she quickly drained her own battery in the process. She has a bit of a nasty, albeit mostly fearful rivalry with the sadistic Sexadoll, Edge, ever since the incident took place. (Source: Saber Marionette R OVA)
