Synopsis

Minami Asako has a "unique constitution." He senses the lingering thoughts of the deceased and experiences the circumstances under which they died with his own body in a reaction similar to stigmata. This proves useful in solving difficult cases with the Metropolitan Police Department's Special Investigations Unit Six. His "unique constitution" enables him to perceive a victim's lingering feelings and thoughts from a murder scene, which manifests as "stigmata" (physical markers of the murder e.g. wounds) appearing over his body, along with flashbacks of how the murder happened. This power made him the target of his mother's emotional and physical abuse, as he was suspected of faking it for attention.
