Synopsis

Since no one else at her agency is capable of the task, 16-year-old idol Julia Tachibana is assigned to mentor 15-year-old newcomer Ran Asakawa. While she downright refuses at first, Julia has a change of heart after meeting the girl in question—becoming immediately attached to her. As she often finds herself trying to impress Ran, Julia quickly comes to realize that she has feelings for her. She should find this conflicting, as the pursuit of a relationship between two girls could cause a scandal that would ruin her career—but she does not seem to care. The sixteen-year-old main character of the manga. She is one of the top talents in the company "Shanghai Talent Limited". Because of that, she was initially jealous of Ran&#039;s potential, but eventually she fell in love with Ran. She can be very stubborn, exuberant, delusional and difficult, much to the annoyance of her manager, Saeki. She has a strong work ethic, going so far as to ensure that her career is never compromised due to her personal life. This is something which Ran admires. Julia envisions herself to be a lecherous wolf who needs to stay away from Ran lest she confess or act on her feelings. She is later shocked to realise, much to nobody else&#039;s surprise, that she is extremely incompetent when it comes to doing anything to or with Ran. She laments that she is the more submissive between the two of them. She is the president and sole member of the "We love love love Ran-Ran Fan Club". Julia suffers intense nosebleeds whenever Ran does something cute, when she thinks something perverted, and when Ran touches her. It gets to the point that she briefly considers medical help to stop her nose from bleeding so profusely. At the end of the series, No voice actors have been added to this character. Another member of Shanghai Talent Limited, and she is also sixteen years old. Ran is very laid-back, sometimes to the point of appearing "out of it". She is not a quick thinker and is very naive and earnest. Her sweet, considerate nature makes Julia fall quickly in love with her. During her interactions with Julia, Ran becomes more enthusiastic and confident in herself, striving to be just as hard-working as her mentor. Much to everyone&#039;s bewilderment and Saeki&#039;s relief, Ran is completely oblivious to Julia&#039;s feelings. Tables are turned when Ran begins to wonder if she&#039;s in love with Julia herself, and she ironically agonizes over it much in the way Julia had when she first realized that she loved Ran. She is half foreign and her past is mysterious. Saeki refers to her as an "airhead". Ran however becomes very calm, suave and charming when she&#039;s intoxicated, much in contrast to her bumbling, nervous, scatter-brained normal self. She is not aware of Julia&#039;s nickname for her ("Ran-Ran"). No voice actors have been added to this character.
