Synopsis

Megumi Amatsuka, a rough and tumble nine-year-old boy, always dreamt of becoming the "manliest man on earth." Upon receiving a book of magic from a sorcerer whom he saved from a group of local thugs, Megumi summons a genie in order to make a wish. But due to a sick twist of fate, the genie turns out to be an evil one, and Megumi winds up being the "womanliest woman on earth"! Six years later... Megumi Amatsuka used to be a boy until she met a person she thought was a magic user. This person gave him/her a magical book from which a genie appears to grant one wish when blood is applied to it. Megumi made the wish to be manly but the genie has a grants his/her wishe but he/she turns into a girl. Years pass and Megumi enters High School where she immediately beats up the school bully who of course falls in love with her. She is looking for that book again to be able to reverse the spell placed upon her. While physically an attractive female, she still retains her masculine mannerisms and fighting ability, attracting the 'Megu-chan Protection Club', a group of misfit admirers. Megumi is very overpretective of Miki and it seems that she/he has a crush over her (but it is unclear.) (Source: Wikipedia)

A violent and fearsome punk. An excellent fighter, Genzo has been in countless fights and is feared by all who cross his path. All this changes when he encounters Megumi. He is also in the Megu-chan Protection Club, even though he doesn't admit it and just says that it's quiet there and he's just reading his book. At first he thought of Megu-chan as low-classed but later on when she returns his doll for him and doesn't admit it, he started to like her and thought of her as high-classed.
