About this title

Synopsis

The story takes place after the end of Trace 1 and revolves around Han Sihyun, an investigator of the National Investigation Service (NIS). In attempt to find a way to coexist with "Troubles" instead of killing them, Sihyun frequently proposal to the board of NIS to approve a research on communicating with "Trouble." But after getting his proposal rejected yet again, Sihyun accidentally captured "Trouble" while he was drunk and decided to illegally experiment on it. Though communication seems impossible at first, Sihyun and his "Trouble" slowly begin to close the distant between them and form a bond together.

Han Si Hyun is a Trace who works for the NIS. He first appears in Trace 1.5 as a man interested in co-existing with the Troubles. His proposal is constantly shot down by the higher ups as the NIS refuses to fund a research. One night, while intoxicated with his own ability, he sees a Trouble and subdues it. This Trouble was brought to his household, tied up, and Han SI-Hyun continues to do unauthorized research/experiment on it. This research includes the Trouble being tied up in his basement, feeding it human food, finding out it's mentality. This Trouble was named Sarang. Sarang was originally extremely hostile towards Han Si-Hyun, but as days went by, he later grew affectionate towards Han Si-Hyun, and vice versa. Sarang is the name given to the Trouble that was captured by Han Si Hyun. Han Si Hyun decided to test his experiments on Sarang in order to prove that it is possible for human to communicate with Troubles. At first, Sarang act violently towards Han Si Hyun but later grew attached to him. Saran means "love" in Korean. No voice actors have been added to this character.
