Main characters
Jin Woo1 fan favoritesExternal profileWoo Jin is the owner of a small city cafe, and is a part time magician. However, he does not use magic tricks of a normal human being and uses his psychic powers instead. No-one knows of his power save for Chul-Ki, his brief adopted father, and his ex-childhood friend, Tae Min. When Woo was a child he was taken from the abusive life of his drug-addicted mother and taken in the arms of Chul-Ki, the leader of the Old Boy underworld gang. There he met Tae Min - a boy around his age and a fellow psychic user - and almost immediately became best friends with him. During his time with Chul-Ki, Woo and his friend were taught to train and perfect their psychic powers, and ignorantly use them for the benefit of the Old Boy gang. In return of following Chul-Ki's orders, Woo and Tae were given gifts; one example being when Woo was given a baby dog for his work. Woo could easily sneak inside a jewelry store and take any of its contents, but when he was ordered to hurt and potentially kill people, he refused. Chul-Ki would not accept Woo's answer and placed Tae in a situation that forced Woo to kill his adult dog in order to save his friend. Woo started to doubt Chul-Ki and his parenting, and after a serious argument with Tae one night, fled from the both of them. There he met his surrogate father and his daughter Joo-Hee, who became his childhood friend (as well as girlfriend). The rest of his childhood life was being raised with Joo-Hee by her father, who owned an orphanage for abandoned and unloved children. In high school, he made became friends Hyun, one of the students who went to his school. He still remains his friend even in their adult life. He is approximately 20 to 21 years old. Min Tae0 fan favoritesExternal profileA brief childhood friend and legal brother to Woo Jin, Tae Min was adopted by Chul-Ki (leader of the gangster group "Old Boy") shortly after he killed his abusive father (it is implied he used his psychic powers to do so). As he grew up with Woo, they both were taught by Chul-Ki how to develop and perfect their psychic powers. Early on, Tae and Woo would earn rewards for using their powers from by stealing jewelry, but later they were ordered to eventually hurt and kill people, and both were promptly tortured if either refused to do so. In one predicament when Woo refused to hurt a person, Tae was blindfolded and bitten by Woo's pet dog. From that point on he was hurt and confused by what Woo allowed his dog to do, and acted hostile towards him. One night, Woo ran away from the shelter of Chul-Ki after an intense argument with Tae, leaving him alone to be raised until adulthood. He still bears intense hatred towards him for his abandoning. As an adult, Tae left Chul-Ki's wing and became a person for hire for the Old Boy gang. He said he wasn't doing it to disrespect or to under-appreciate Chul-Ki's work, but he still views him as client nonetheless. Tae Min has a very sporadic personality and is immature. He can be angry, silly and happy as a child all within the span of one minute. His infantine thinking can also be dangerous; early in the story, he injured around and dozen men and thought of it as a game. Tae Min keeps his powers a secret but isn't afraid of using them in public, and uses them only for himself. A time occurs in the story when he was watching a baseball game and saw the team he was rooting for was losing, so he used his mind to manipulate the baseball so that team would have the upper hand. Because of his frivolous personality, it can be assumed that this isn't the first time he has manipulated a game or anything else in his lifetime to meet his desires. As a child when he trained with Woo, he was more than happy to do anything their father asked. At first, he and his brother just needed to steal in their early criminal lives. But when Chul-Ki told them to harm or kill others, he was excited to do that as well. This can be the result of his previous life with his abusive father, and for that, his anger at his weakness could be taken out on the people he was ordered to harm or kill. It appears even now that he hasn't been able to let go of his past and it can be a result of his unpredictable and immature personality. No voice actors have been added to this character.
