Arisaka Yoruka is known as a girl who is gifted with beauty, academic knowledge, and other talents, making her popular with both boys and girls. However, her greatest weakness is her inability to communicate, which resulted in her not making any friends during her entire first year in high school. Arisaka Yoruka was born into a fairly well-known family whose members are famous for their talent. From birth, seeing how her relatives achieve certain successes, Arisaka began to strive to be like them, in particular, her big sister Arisaka Aria. However, in her opinion, she was far behind them, as a result of which she developed an inferiority complex. Her condition was further worsened by the fact that behind her back she constantly felt the eyes of others around her, because of which she developed a reclusiveness. As a result, upon entering high school, Arisaka spent almost the entire 1st year alone, keeping communication with her classmates to a minimum, driving away the assertive with her icy attitude, and hiding from everyone in the art training class. It was only after she received confession from Kisumi at the end of her 1st year of high school and started dating him that she began to slowly change and make friends. The protagonist of the story and a 2nd year student at Eisei High School. A non-confrontational and unremarkable young man, but able to find an approach to any person, for which he was elected as the class president for the second year in a row. Former basketball player, formerly of the middle school basketball team. He has a little sister, Ei, whom he often looks after, so he has developed a responsible character and is ready to lend a helping hand to anyone if he sees the need for it. After entering Eisei High School, he also joined the basketball club, but in one friendly match he was found guilty of fighting with another team during a match as an instigator of it, and therefore left the club. Appreciating his communication skills, his homeroom teacher Kanzaki Shizuru asked Kisumi to get closer to Arisaka Yoruka so that she could become friends with her class through him. Kisumi accepted her request and began to seek Yoruka's trust, but along the way he falls in love with Yoruka and on the last day of the first year confesses his feelings to her, getting her consent.
