Synopsis
Burdened with expectations since childhood, second-year high schooler Jo "Jay" Ja-Hyun feels obligated to aim for the top through his studies. Despite obtaining the title of student president at Taeyang High, he continues to study diligently, giving him little time to befriend others. However, possessing an exceptional talent for biking with a technique that astonishes other experienced bikers, there is more to him than meets the eye. One afternoon, while Jay is skidding his bike at high speed, he catches the interest of his classmate, Yoon Minu. Amazed by his unparalleled biking skill, Minu is quick to recruit him to his biking crew, but Jay coldly rejects the offer. He can play as a defensive rider, supporting his crew during their races and an offensive rider. One of his lesser-acknowledged skills is his ability to sprint. He is often overshadowed by his crewmate Dom, but Jay has shown to sprint at high speeds during races. Years of practice made Jay seem like an "extension" of his bike. He mastered his control of the mechanics and has unique skills like Stabbing Break, Rock Wall, Fish and Chips, Railing Grinds, Jumps, and the famous Inertia. Jay possesses extraordinary technique with the bike. He shows excellent control maneuvering around sharp turns. Because she stayed at England before coming to Korea, Shelly's personality is perceived as very headstrong. She does not like it when people talk badly about her friends, especially Jay. Shelly also has a lot of stamina and strength; she can keep up with the group's pace when racing and can actually send people flying with her punch (although that may be for comedic reasons). but she has never gotten into street fights with the guys in the crew. Dom is considered the comedic relief of the series. He is often sleeping during classes because of his night job at the club. Before Dom was rude to others and fought often until he met Yuna. Because of his feelings for her he does his best to change. By acting all generous and kind he gives her a good picture of himself while he does all the dirty things behind her back. He can be pretty merciless and cold when things get serious what is a strong contrast to his usual self. He sometimes lets his confidence get the better of him but, he is a hardworking and determined individual as he does his best to learn how to ride a bike despite the amount of times has been injured riding it. He is also someone who does as much training as possible in order to catch up to his friends and be a big help for the team. He is a bit gullible, often falling for scams. But with the help of his father's men, he always gets his revenge. He is interested in making music in the future and works part time as a DJ at his father's club, WD Club.
